  1. Just added 2 items so we'll see how it goes. Personally I didn't find the process difficult, maybe a few more steps but otherwise ok. Like anything in life change takes time to become familiar with features. Larry
  2. Add me to the Vendors list as well. Get some rest Don. No reason to endanger your health over this stuff. We'll get there in due time. Larry
  3. Red is a favorite color but not so much here. Blue is easier on the eyes. Larry
  4. http://rare.us/story/watch-these-bears-slug-it-out-in-the-middle-of-a-new-jersey-suburb/ Who would of thought this happening in New Jersey?
  5. Glad to hear you're feeling better & home again. Now make sure that snow machine is turned off.
  6. Would like to see the "last post" in a topic. Maybe its here but haven't found it yet?
  7. Did Flying Fool turn on his snow machine? Sure hope not.
  8. Sorry to read this but know Dad is with the Father now. Peace & Prayers for you, Tippy, & family. Larry
  9. Don its better to accept and adjust to new changes than to go thru a system crash like we did a few yeas ago. Thanks for all you do. Larry
  10. Yea and the Puckster would be mighty thankful too
  11. I feel for you Karl. Prayers for your friend Fred and you too. Larry
  12. Hmmm seeing as I just bought a 2014 Silverado 1500 I think I better check my spare tire system. No idea what there is with this years model on attachments but you can be sure I get it oiled up good. By the way I love this truck. Larry
  13. "Actually,, I only try to worry about reality and important things.... Things like,, hmmm,, where the heck is Carbon Ones new Slingshot,,, now that I am worried about,,,,, they better hurry up and get him that Slingshot so he can take pics and tell us all about it or I am gonna be frying pan mad and turn into the Hulkster!!!!" Puc ole buddy I'm still in a holding pattern on when Polaris eventually sends the Slingshots to the dealers. Mama Polaris has been tight lipped on when they're gonna ship to the dealers. Also they won't ship any till the dealers set up their expensive displays. But my dealer has yet to receive his display items from them so I'm figuring at least two weeks after the displays are set up before actual shipping. Bummer as I think I'll need a snow suit to ride when I do get it before much longer. Larry
  14. Behind the right side horn. Its under a 10mm hex bolt on the engine case. Larry
  15. I was faced by the same thing recently. My Nissan Titan crew cab, v-8, 4x4 averaged 15-16 mpg no matter how I drove it. Checked out a Chevy 2014 crew cab, 2 wheel drive and realized I could save a bunch of money at the pump and elsewhere. Fuel mpg on the Chevy, 1st 1k miles averaged 20.5 mpg, since then I've gotten between 21.5 & 22.5, depending on speed on the freeways. I'm actually saving $20 a month on insurance for the new truck too, but offset that with a $10/month increase in my monthly payment. For me it was worth switching. Larry
  16. I was just thinking a dolly with casters and a small hydraulic or scissor jack would work too. Bing in a confined space going straight up & down would be a plus. And probably safer. Larry
  17. Had a great time visiting with both fellow members and touring St. Jude again. Even learned some things that we didn't know of from past visits. What an awesome place there. Larry
  18. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Vacuum-Carburetor-Synchronizer-carb-sync-Gauge-Yamaha-XS-XJ-1100-1200-/380901309371?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item58af7cbbbb This is what I use and recommend. I feel these gauges are more accurate than the carb tune most people use here. Cost is about the same too. Larry
  19. It's always tough to lose a family member and you know our pets are family. Prayers for you all. Larry
  20. Copied this post article from yesterdays SilvrT's post -- http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/09/17/coming-soon-when-a-cop-points-his-radar-gun-at-you-it-could-detect-more-than-just-speeding/ Hopefully something like this can put a dent in the number of these type of accidents happening. Larry
  21. Ok you do have one of my adapters if it has legs. The copy cat dude on e-bay doesn't make the removable leg version of my adapters and uses the older version of my Standard lift adapter. He also paints his red so you can tell if it's his or one of mine. I've upgraded my design for both Standard and Freestanding model a couple of times since first making them. Send me a pm with your address and I'll send you a bolt on safety bar. This bar will allow you to butt up against it with the lifting arms thus ensuring you have full contact under the far side. Larry
  22. Don't do that anymore. Seriously you'll give all of us heart failure. Does your adapter have the added safety bar for the shorter jacks? Is the adapter one of mine? Let me know more on this so we can prevent future problems. Larry
  23. Add Joyce & I in
  24. We just finished booking a room at the Comfort Inn for the week of the rally. Larry & Joyce
  25. No irons in this fire either way. Well put BigLenny. Larry
