  1. Here ya go-- http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=27986 Larry
  2. Here in S.E. Michigan we're seeing gas prices just under 2.50. I topped off the car yesterday at 2.48. Not sure just how low or long these prices will go or last but I'll enjoy it as long as possible. I do think once the economy settles we'll see prices going up once again. Hope it won't be too much. Larry
  3. 11 k + since April. Might get some more in before the weather shuts me down. Right now I'm a busy beaver getting a kitchen/utility room remodeled so that's taking away what decent ride time is left as well. Hope to do much better next year thou. Larry
  4. Congrads to the both of you. :clap2:Wishing you many more happy years ahead. Larry
  5. Congratulations to another soon to be triker. You'll be getting a good one too. Larry
  6. Been following Harley's trike project for a while now. No I won't be buying one one since I already have a good bike. I do think Harley has made a good decision on coming out with a factory 3 wheeler thou. Especialy with so many trikes now on the road and with a growing customer base it was a smart move on their part. Haven't actually seen one in person yet but the local dealer is supposed to give me a cal when they get one in. Larry
  7. Ya mine broke in the same area and was replaced under warranty as well. If the dealer tries to give ya ahard time then contact the local factory service rep. Larry
  8. Ya it does appear we were given a totaly different publication. Not having seen the N.G. version I don't know what if anything we're missing here. Still the price was right. I'll use it along with other biker route mapping books. Larry
  9. Just a heads up here on this map book. Got mine today and must say it's pretty good considering it's a freebie. Glad I ordered one after all. The pic on the cover is different then what I posted in the 1st post here but that's ok. Larry
  10. Good to see you made it home safely Brad & Lonna. Larry
  11. Sorry to hear of your mishap there AR. Glad to see you're writing this and that your injuries aren't too severe. Goes to show you that even on 3 wheels one must remain viligant for those cages out to cause mayhem to us riders. I'm not supprised the other driver tried to blame you either. That seems to be standard procedure anymore. Supprisingly he didn't use the excuse he didn't see ya??? Heal quick and hope the damage to your bike isn't too extensive. Larry
  12. No problem Sarge. I'll be making these lift adapters for as long as there's a demand for them, health permiting. Don't forsee not making them anytime soon either, God willing. Larry
  13. That's correct Rocket. Most everyone I've talked to that has a 1st gen just lifts their bikes by the exhausts. Don't seem to hurt them any doing it that way either. Bob thanks for the good words here. I do try to give a quality product and timely service. Haven't had but one or two problems since offering these lifts to the folks here in 2 years of building them. And no one has asked for a refund yet. Knocking on some wood now. I also build a lift adapter for the 96-98 Royals but those are strictly special order only. The RSTD's & RSV's I do try to keep in stock. Larry
  14. Man I can just see some ole guy wearing an undie sheepskin!!!! Could probably pass it off pretty well too cause everyone would just think his big azz is just wearing Depends. :rotf: I won't even comment about the ladies here wearing such an outfit..... Larry
  15. I think you would be better off with the sheep skin myself. Reason I think that is due to the sheepskin being thicker and having the ability to allow better air flow.
  16. Hey I see you're not far from me. We'll have to get together sometime before bad weather hits us. I've put over 11,000 miles on it so far this summer. 99% was two up as well. Love it. that looks absolutely fantastic!!!!!!! good job!!!! You really didnt need an excuse like dropping it to do that to your scoot! Brian Ya you're right there. Could of done without the pain of healing and the hit on the ole wallet You did a great job on it Larry. You should be proud of yourself for such an accomplishment..!!!!.. Very nice!! Thanks Eck. Nice as it is I'll be tweaking it just a little this winter. And you DO have 2 car tires on your Venture! Gotta love them big azz c/t's hey? Larry
  17. Here ya go Boomer. http://www.kuryakyn.com/products.asp?bn=metric&ci=2309 You'll need #4018 as the bars are 1" in diameter. Larry
  18. Not much I can add to what others have said either. Just know you are thought of often and that prayers get sent your way now and again. Glad to see you're getting better mentally and physically as time goes on. Larry
  19. Ok that's what I kind of thought you might of been doing but wasn't sure. Haven't done anything like that on the bike but have on cars. Larry
  20. By the RPM method are you refering to adjusting each carbs mixture screw to get the optium rpm setting? Enlighten us as to how you are doing this please. Larry
