Speaking of high winds I've noticed that since I've had my trike wind of any degree now seems nonexisitant. Before stong cross winds or passing semis on the highways you'd get pushed around. Now the bike seems as if it's on rails and so stable. Another plus for being on 3. Larry

No snow here at the moment but cold and windy. We are supposed to get rain/snow with low temps all next week so there goes another week of no riding. At this rate summer will arrive before we even see warm spring weather. Larry

The trikes do roll supprisingly easy. Because you're not also balancing them. Of course you do have to pay attention to where and how you park. Nothing really any different than 2 wheelers there. On level ground I can back mine up in the saddle, even with the Mrs. on board. There's only been a couple of times I needed help getting out of a parking spot. Anyhow one lears very quickly where or how to oark in any given situation. Didn't know you had a matching tailer too Jeff. Cool beans. Road tripping here you go. Larry

Mike I'll take it either outright or make a swap with you. I have a new in the wrapper Avon in the 130/80HB-16. I got it last year but never used it cause of triking the bike. I was going to take it to Don's maintence day and offer it up who ever may of wanted it then. If interested e-mail or pm me and we'll work something out. Larry

I've seen them before at bike shows. Well built units no question there. In fact when the Sears jack I currently use goes bad I'll probably get one of these. Larry

As Squidley has said I've mounted several of them in various bikes in the past. The AudioVox system I feel is the best unit to use for a mc. Small enough to put on just about any bike. They work great too, same as in your car or truck. I'll be installing one for a friend in a Honda Valkyrie Interstate sometime this spring. Larry

Fred responded earlier this evening and said he's using a 18" sidecar tire on front. Didn't say which one but don't matter as the 2nd gen uses a 16" tire. Larry

Yea I've been looking too and so far have come up with a big "O". At this point I think I'll go with a rear tire mounted in reverse when I need to replace the front tire. Larry

Another long time archer and bow hunter here thou both have taken somewhat of a back seat to motorcycling now. Still shoot a 3-D league during winter months. As to bow selections I'd say same as others have already said - go to a reputable bow shop.With bow designs (& costs) constantly changing it's hard to keep up with the latest and greatest (?) technology. Wife and I have a pair of Sterns rain gear from WalMart. The types with breathable nylon. We've used them for several years now and even in the heavest of downpours they've keep us dry. While I've seen many people using the Fogg Togs and hear good results from them I also have seen too many that would tear at the seams. Whether that was from poor fit (too tight) or carelessness on the part of the wearer I know not. Once you have a rip you can forget staying dry. For keeping feet dry I have used slip over booties with a rubber sole in the past. Forget just now who made them. I also have a pair of waterproof boots. Larry

Replacing conventional lights with leads on a trailer shouldn't need anything but wiring them up. because there's enough of them in each light to create the needed resistance for your system to operate on. Larry

Glad I'm one of those 36 people. Getting registered now will be just one less thing to do to get ready for this rally. Besides that doing it now will lessen the burden on our organizers so they won't have as much to do at the last minute. Larry

Glad you got a job now and as others say keep that shiny side up and the rubber down. Now that you'll be a highway man I suppose we'll not see you too much but when our paths do cross it'll be sure good to see you. Who knows I might just pass you by tripping on the trike.
