Some of the rooms have refridgators in them and if anyone brings coolers there's alway the option of adding Ice. i'll check tomorrow with Randal on what they have too. I think Bill covered that with him already thou. Larry

Yep lucky me. There's some people here in cages but don't think they're part of our group. At least as I type this from the front porch near the office I haven't seen any Ventures yet. Oh yea we did some nice riding today too. Blue skies with scattered white clouds. And not enough of them to even throw a shadow either. Picture perfect day if I must say so. Yea I'm rubbing it in a bit here. Sure hope everyone gets here without getting too wet. Later, Larry

Well we might just take a ride back to Lambert's Sat. Meet and eat with ya all & then head back to the Hub. It's only a 90 mile run after all.

Joyce and I left Wed morning. Currently in Springfirld, Mo. We'll settle in at the Hub sometime today, Then cruise the area prior to everyones arrival. Got very lucky with weather too. Caught some light misting a couple times but that was all. oh we went to Lamberts last night and had a great dinner. Wait time was about 45 minutes. Larry

A quick notice here to let anyone wanting a horn bracket. I'm temporarly out of them but will be getting more made up after the International Rally. I've noted in my ad here that they're out of stock but will update it once I have more available. I'll update this post as well. Larry

Nice idea and looking good to me as well. Used to do the same thing on a couple Harley Sportsters I had back in the day. Larry

Welcome to the world of 3 wheeling. Take it easy for a while till you become aquainted with the bikes handling thou. Hope to see you down the road some time. I'll be at the International Rally in a couple of weeks. Larry

Will keep Vic, family and surgeon in my thoughts & prayers. Larry

We were in Frankenmuth yesterday visting the shops and eating some fine dinner. As noted there's enough stuff to do I don't think anyone could be bored. I think two years ago Squidley held a meet & eat at the town micro-brewery too. We had a very good turn out for that one. Larry

Hey somebodies been watching me use my tools!!!! Larry

Yep you don't want that rear wheel to lock at all. Two years ago I went down doing pretty much what you did. I couldn't get control of the bike once it started the wobble. Needless to say I spent some serious money rebuilding the bike after that. You might want to check here for a proportioning valve one of our members, Rick Butler, sell. He has an ad in 2nd gen parts & accessories of the Classified section. I know I would of added one if I hadn't converted my bike to a trike. Larry

Heads up: Vogal Stae Park cabin available. We had to cancel our cabin reservation for the state park since we won't be able to attend the rally. Our loss here can be someone elses gain. Larry

Well as you know you'll be sorely missed around here but it's good that you were preparing for this day. Wishing you both the best of luck in getting where you want and with a good long lasting job to boot. Hoping you guys do stay this side of the big muddy cause we'd have more chance of seeing you at various times of the year. Larry
-
That's odd because I've been to Canada several times in the last year and half with my trike and no one has ever questioned us about stuff of this nature. Just the usual questions pertaining to our destination etc. Of course we've only gone to Ontario so maybe other Provinces have different rules. Or the person at the check point is being "picky". Larry

Boy Bill you sure keep coming up with some great stuff for the rally. Certainately makes it enticing for those folks sitting on the fence on whether to attend or not. Thanks to all who are hard at work here in making this sure to be a successful rally. Larry

She's a tough one. Can he handle a hockey player? Larry

2 g-kids. Girl 15 and boy 12 here. Larry

Good luck to you all on getting this resolved soon. Only reason it's dragged out this long is cause the guys's guilty as hell and using evasive tactics to stay out of jail longer. Larry

Ok now we know you're selling the 99 but what will be taking it's place in the garage? Inquiring minds just wanting to know. Larry

Rally Raffle Tickets- get your winner now !!
Carbon_One replied to Cinderella's topic in Watering Hole
Well with only 5 weeks away from the rally it's time to bump up the raffle ticket sales like Cindy says. That being said I ordered more. Gotta increase my odds of winning. Larry -
My 05 used to pop occasionaly on deceleration. This was before I added the RK mufflers and with them in place it did it a bit more often. Knowing that the carbs were running lean I bumped up the pilots one size per the cylinders. I also increased the mains one size but found out later that it was running too rich so changed them back to stock. Floats were reset during this operation as well. Anyhow with the pilots taken up in size 1 number I now have excelent low end acceleration and no poping since doing this. All of the spark plugs are perfect in color too. My AIS is still on and since it isn't causing any problems I'll leave it be. My Larry

Sorry to hear you and Sarah can't make it Don. We were looking forward to seeing you again as well as the kids. Life stuff does have a way of interfering with the best laid plans. Hope whatever you have to attend to, you'll have successful results. Larry

How about at The Hub in Arkansas during the International Rally? I'll be there. Larry

I saw one of those scooter trikes at a nearby town from me. While they may be OK for in-town use at slow speeds I don't think I'd chance riding one on any kind of road. Besides the fact that the rear wheels are very close to each other the whole thing looked top heavy as well. I could imagine one of these tipping over pretty easily mainly due to the narrow rear end. Carl I sent you a e-mail regarding a shipping address. Larry
