  1. Has there been a host hotel(s) chosen yet for the 2011 Int rally next year? I've seen numerous posts where folks have already booked sites at the campground and at the State park but no mention of hotels for the rest of us folks. Larry
  2. Gary sorry to hear of Mother in laws health problems. Prayers forthcoming for her, you, and family. Glad you are a working again too. Larry
  3. Bikes can be replaced/repaired. Glad you & Mrs. were able to walk away from the mishap with realitively minor injuries. Heal fast and go shopping. Larry
  4. Congradulations to the happy couple and their parents too. Larry
  5. Good thoughts and Prayers sent. Wishing them the best in dealing with their problem(s). Larry
  6. How about the complete light assembly? I have both left & right side turn lights I took off when I triked the bike. Larry
  7. If you do decide to buy my bracket I will guarantee that it'll last the life of your bike. No cracking or breakage with my stainless steel bracket or a full refund. Seriously I've had my bracket for over 4 yrs now and it still looks like the day I put it on. There is some slight rust on the under side as I don't polish that side but that has no effect on strength of the bracket. Larry
  8. Best of luck with the healing process Don. Continued thoughtd & prayers till you get thru all of this. Larry
  9. WOW. That's certainly no way to start your day let alone a trip. The only good thing was it happened at home and you were able to fix the problem thou temporarly. Hope the rest of your trip goes smoothly. Larry
  10. While my milage has gone done since triking the bike this summer I deliberately ran the main tank down, knowing I had a auxilary fuel tank to switch over too. Having said this the tank required 5.85 gal a couple of times to top it off within an inch of the top of the neck. I have punched out a hole about midway of the filler neck. My auxilary tank measures out to be 4 gals but real life usable amounts to about 3.5 gals if I intend to let the bike sit or 3.75 gals if I am running off the tank and intending to use it up. One reason for the lesser usable amount is the pickup tube is off the bottom of the tank. thus there'll always be some fuel in it that can't get sucked up by the fuel pump. Larry
  11. You can always e-mail them.
  12. Ya that. Larry
  13. Done. Keep us informed if there's not enough funds to cover the expenses of getting the bike fixed. If I was closer I'd also offer up my mechanic services. Now that we're on the road to fixing up the bike it's time for Lowell to concentrate on doing the same. Get well soon friend. Larry
  14. I'm in once I know where to send off the funds. larry
  15. Maytag washer & dryer here. We have the Epic Z series which are front loading with the dryer mounted above the washer. The soap & water useage is very low (1/4?), don't know but for a fact my water bills are less. Have had them 2 years now and not a problem yet. Previous washer/dry was Maytag as well and had them for some 20 plus years. great service with very little maintance over the years. Larry
  16. Glad you finally found the problem and it should now preform as it should. Yep the Squid comes thru once again for our members here. Way to go Brad. Larry BTW: I don't think I've ever seen an axle that far off before. It's no wonder tires were being shreded so fast.
  17. Mike PM me your info and we'll get you squared away with a safety bar. I now make the safety bar as a bolt on feature rather then welded on as on previous units that required them. I want everyone to safely use my adapters. Why risk the bike falling off the lift if one doesn't get the jack perfect under the bike. Larry
  18. Do what you feel is best for you Froggy. Safety can't be compromised and if those tires are that slippery without towing I certaintly wouldn't pull a trailer either. It just isn't worth the risk imo. Now if you're towing a trailer with a trike that's a whole new ballgame. I've yet to have had any traction problems towing my trailer in the rain. For me on the trike in the rain visibility is the limiting factor. That and the amount of trafiic being ridden in. Even then I do slow down. Larry
  19. I've got one. PM me your addy and it'll be shipped out. Larry
  20. Got it on the calendar but won't know till later if we can make it or not. Would love to see all you folks again. Larry
  21. Thanks for the update and wishing James a speedy recovery now Larry
  22. You can take both off for servicing the bike but they should be left on when running/riding the bike as they do add support to the engine. No need to prop the engine while they're off either cause the motor won't fall off. LOL . Larry
  23. That looks really sharp and certainly an eye catcher. What kind of contrasting trim have you planned for it. I know you mentioned pin stripping. Stick on types or hand laid paint? Larry
  24. Ya think he's a chip off the ole block? Glad to hear he's doing well and wishing him safe travels at the rock pit. Thanks to him for his service to country. Larry
