  1. Hurt my back over the weekend so may not make it depending on how it heals. Currently the bike is parked and only riding I'm doing is in the easy chair. Larry
  2. Not much better here either. I pulled a muscle in my back couple days ago and can hardly move without pain. Needless to say the scoot is parked till I'm feeling better. Bummer too cause I missed Kevin's shore line ride and may even miss the Flint M&E next weekend. Oh and keep that bug ya all have at home I don't need that on top of my aliments. Larry
  3. Loved watching that. Great story there. Larry
  4. I've complained many times at those toll booths to no avail. Now that I'm three I just ignore it but sure used to get interesting at times. Especialy when it had been raining. Larry
  5. Glad you found the problem even thou you ended up with egg on your face. LOL Now hit the highway & enjoy that trip this weekend. Larry
  6. More then likely he's become the squeeze. Larry

    Want!!

What? No seat? No thanks not with my bad knees. might be fun thou for a short ride. Larry
  8. That's just plain nuts. As said before NO way. My stomache was doing flip flops just watching that film. Right now that would 1750 higher than I ever intend to get. Larry
  9. Or put it up on a jack using my lift adapter. Perfectly level then. Larry Shameles plug
  10. LOL well I was in a hurry so just shot the pic where I last parked the bike. In front of the trash can and trailer. Larry
  11. Made them myself. Have had serveral requests for them and at this time have been contemplating building a few sets up but that won't happen till my riding season is over as I don't want to take these off just now. I also want to build up some sort of fixture so as they can be duplicated easier rather then doing one set at a time as I have for this set & one I made for B2Dad's trike. I'll post up a article once I'm ready to presue this project. Larry
  12. I'd go with the Works shock and never look back. The extra expense would be worth it IMO. The shock is very easy to change as well so depending on what a dealer wants to do the job you could save big $$$ doing it yourself. Maybe convince the dealer to give ya a big discount off the price of the bike & use that towards the shocks replacement costs. Larry
  13. Finally had gotten around to take pics of my set up. Volt meter on left bullet cup & tack on right cup. Larry
  14. Ok here's a couple pics of the Kruzer Kaddy as mounted on my bike. Picture #2 & #3 is with full lock left of the bars. Pics #5 & #6 are the passenger drink holder. There's about 2 1/2" from the bottom of the cup holder when wheel is straight to top of tank and when in a full lock left I have about 1 1/4" clearance there. Note that I have Flanders bars on so a stock bar could be a bit closer in left locked position. Larry
  15. I'd 2nd Tripod here. Safety is of the utmost importance here. Switching to grade 8 bolts was a wise decision as well. Larry
  16. I can help with that wiring as well. I 2nd Dano on switching plugs too. Larry
  17. Yep that'll make go home and changer your shorts. Glad the outcome was what it was. May of even be a blessing that you didn't have any reaction time. Slamming on brakes or swerving may not of been a favorable thing to happen. Larry
  18. Saw this on the Trike talk fourm so wanted to share it here. Enjoy. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gD78rTF0Rjo]YouTube - The "Jiffy" Crew[/ame]
  19. Wouldn't be you would it? Larry
  20. Thanks for sharing. It's always a pleasure to see where our members have been. With those of who couldn't be there and even when we are we can relive those good times. Larry
  21. I've taken several off and while taking the battery box out would be easier to access that top bolt I never have. Just reach up with a pair of long handled wrenches and go to it. No time at all and you're done. One thing you'll need to do is get the bike up as far as possible on the jacks or one of my lift adapters with legs. It's then easier getting under the bike to do the job. Also it helps to have a regular floor type jack to put under the rear wheel. You raise or lower the jack as needed to be able to slide out the bolts once the nuts are off. When putting the nuts back on you should put a drop of thread locker on the bolts. Even thou the nuts are self locking types they do lose their grip some after being on/off a couple times. It's just extra insurance to do so to keep Murphy away.. Larry
  22. I use the Kruzer Kaddy drink holders on my bike. http://www.kruzerkaddy.net/products.html Have one mounted on the left bar and another on the right arm rest for the Mrs. Both are the leater covered versions. I'll dig up a pic and add it here later. Larry
  23. Michigan has that same law or close to it. Maybe 16" from seat to highest part of handle bars. As other types of laws like this it's enforced selectively. While some local leo's ignore it others may not. I have a friend who has a bobber style and was busted twice in the UP by State officers. Another friend had a Road Glide with high bars and never was questioned by the same officer while citing the other friend. Go figure that one out. LOL Larry
  24. I suggest getting that auxilary fuel tank as well. Yea I know it's pricey but you'll be glad to have it when out riding. Especialy on trips of any distance where fuels stops may be questionable. You can stop when YOU want to stop and not when the bike dictates it. You'll be another happy triker once you get set up and rolling. Larry
