  1. Here in Michigan we have mandatory 10% mixed ethanaol/gas so wonder how using it full time would eventually clog up the fuel system on our rides. I always put some stablizer in prior to winter layover but even then the bike runs a bit rough for the 1st couple of tanks. Sea foam to the rescue. Larry
  2. Glad to hear this news. Sure the road ahead may get bumpy but being there and talking things out can & will resolve issuses that crop up. Let the healing begin. Larry
  3. Ok back to the main topic ( I think). Maybe there's a set of Diamond R foldaway foot rests the lady is resting her feet on. Larry Back to the previous comments.
  4. One thing everyone needs to check is the throttle cables and cruise control cable from the vaccumn controler. Be sure they're set per specifications as to the adjustments called for. Like Don, I'm pretty sure I could set my cruise in 5th gear at 45 mph and it would stay there for as long as I didn't trip it or run into hills. Larry
  5. I think the trike version of the Vision looks much better then the two wheeled one. Don't know if I'd want one thou. Larry
  6. I have the Road Star versions on my bike as well. 55 watts as opposed to the 35 watts on the RSV versions. As to the switch, I eliminated it and put in a stainless plug. I use a 3 gang switch housing mounted over my clutch resvoir. Larry
  7. Something like that. In our area we probably got 2" give or take a bit. Not only that we'll be lucky to see temps above freezing next week. Larry
  8. Can't help much in finding your daughter but will pray that she is found safe & sound. Larry
  9. Don't know how my 2nd gen compares to the 1st gen you have on the master cylinder but in my experience of converting to the trike I found the stock master lacking in enough volume to fully expand the brakes for good stopping. I used a Wilwood universal master cyclinder kit from Jegs. I used this one -- http://www.jegs.com/i/Wilwood/950/260-5920/10002/-1 But there are others that could be used also. I did do some altering to the one I installed so it would fit between the engine and frame. I used the factory brake linkages along with SS brake lines. Now brakes are excellent. Oh I have Ford disc brakes instead of drums now thou I did use the drum type for a year. Larry
  10. That's all pretty scary stuff out there today. In my day there were the normal drugs and booze. Today it's a whole new ball game. All any parent can do is try to stay abreast of what's going on with their kids and keeping educated for them & the kids on all of this stuff. Good luck Larry
  11. All good advice here . I would add one more thing to think about and that is if you do add a sidercar then I would suggest putting in the V-max rear differential gears. The lower gear ratio will be a blessing. Larry
  12. Nice pics Kat. Glad to see Annie bear on the move again and enjoying sights of this country. Annie & Quickstep are gonna have to do some serious traveling here in the staes this summer to catch up with the Bear. Larry
  13. Added my thoughts & prayers for you all as well. Wishing the best of luck for your daughter. Larry
  14. In Gary's drawing I like to put the activating switch between the ground & # 85 post of the relay. Doing this there's no power going thru the switch then. I still use a fused line going to terminal 86. Larry
  15. Annie bear is already on her way to Georgia. Hibernation will soon be over for her. Larry
  16. Badges are applied with a double 3-M type tape. Use a fishing line or slowly lift a corner and keeping prssure on it till it slowly comes off. Any tape left behind can either be rubbed off or removed with a Goop- Off type of solvent. Applying heat to the badge with a heat gun or hair blow dryer will make them come off easier as well. Larry
  17. Kat I sent you a pm so check it out. Larry
  18. No problem there with the car Gary. We just busting Squids chops as usual is all. Larry
  19. I had pinstriping done in red/silver on my Midnight. Pics in my gallery Larry
  20. Bob I have the Flander bars on my bike as well as the longer SS brake & clutch lines. I also added the Kuryakyn ISO grips. I love this set up as I feel it does make a bit of difference in ease of steering the trike. And you do gain a bit more room on the riser section for those "gotta have" goodies we like to add. Larry
  21. Snug fit for you guys in there. It looks about the size of one of those Smart cars. Larry
  22. I've run into the same problem with those load equalizers from Custom Dynamics. 4-ways working fine but individual turns, nope too fast still. I've tried a couple others too with the same results so finally gave up. Custom Dynamics also sells a flasher that is supposed to do the job but you'll lose the self-cancelling feature when installed. I haven't spent the money on one yet to find out if it doers work thou. Anyhow I'd be interested in what others have to say about this topic as well. Larry
  23. A day or two ago regular was 3.17 a gal, This morning it was 3.25 and this evening up to 3.45 a gal. Shipping will most likely be seeing increases now too with higher fuel surcharges. Larry

Geez all this suspense about getting new wheels. I'm with Skid here since I have no clue either. I guess you have to be in the loop around here. Looking forward to seeing what ya get Brad Larry
  25. Well the Annie bear is still in my possession. I guess we could say she was hibernating here in a nice warm den. With winter still having a good grip on me here it doesn't look like anytime soon she'll be out and about either unless I ship her off in a box. So do we keep her in the den till spring arrives or does someone want me to ship her sleepy butt out to them? Larry
