  1. WOW I just might order a couple more shirts. Great design guys. Larry
  2. While I haven't experince this myself ( knocking on some wood now) but my wife, Joyce, has delt with this for a number of years now. Some days she can hardly get out of bed, other times it's only a minor tempory inconvience. I do know it's no laughing matter as you all have said it's life changing to say the least. Good luck and keep the rubber side down, Larry
  3. Jeff I have the Dunlop D404 on my trike. As I said in a pm it has given me great wear and service with just under 10,000 miles on it and still has 1/4" of thread depth in the tires center. Here's a link from Jake Wilson -- http://www.jakewilson.com/productDetail.do?navTitle=Motorcycle+Tires&webCatId=57&navType=type&webTypeId=493&prodFamilyId=19444&listingId=&sizeAttr=5307 & from MC Superstore -- http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/3/31/401/9955/ITEM/Dunlop-D404-Metric-Cruiser-Rear-Tire.aspx?WT.ac=Recently_Viewed Ron Ayers -- https://www.ronayers.com/ProductDetails/N/2103/SKU/1200143 # 310515 Larry PS: check all dealers as some offer free shipping.
  4. Yea what he says. I looked around when I put a rear Dunlop on my trike and couldn't even find a comparable car tire in the size it needed. The car tires were just too wide for the rim and lack of clearances of the fender itself if trying to larger than the standard size. Almost all of the MC tire companies offer a rear tire in the size we need for the front so you'll have a wide varity of thread patterns / cost choices to choose from. Larry
  5. NOT another one already?? A whole year gone by?? Well I never seen time going backwards so it must be true. Well wishing you a just the same. Larry
  6. Like the guys say Annie - just getr done. Healing will be quicker then you think and as noted should be finished by the time you pick up the bike. Prayers for a successful & speedy recovery Larry
  7. Excellent job done there and I love the two different materials used as it really stands out and says "CUSTOM". Larry
  8. Nice bike. I've always liked the Valk Interstates and may of bought one when I purchased my RSV in 05. Larry
  9. This is what I pull. http://www.jemanufacturing.com/ Mine is the teardrop model. Larry
  10. I'll take a 5 3/4" as well. Larry
  11. I too have noticed a bit more rudness lately. As Don says we need to do better and now with the riding coming up fast we need to get out and ride. Thanks Don for an excellent post bringing up what this club is all about. Larry
  12. I plan on placing an order with McMaster-Carr soon. I'll wait on it to give you time to find a company that'll ship direct to you. If you don't find one just say the word and I'll add on to my order what you want. Larry
  13. Best bet would be to let one of our US members order what you want and shipped to their home. From there it could easly be shipped to you without any problems. If there's someone closer to you that will do that great, if not let me know and I'll take care of ordering for you. Larry
  14. Add my thoughts & prayers to the list as well. Wishing you the best of outcomes here. Larry
  15. Been researching electric versions of carb synchronizers. Here's a couple --- http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TMT-TS-71 & http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TMT-TS-111 The bottom one would require two units for our bikes or you would need to switch lines to the different carbs as needed. Not that pratical & time consuming as well. The major drawback is costs of these units. pricey to say the least. Found some others on the net but they cost even more than these two. Larry
  16. And from the looks of the parks, the State needs all the funding it can get. All the budget cuts are leaving them poorly cared for. Sad to see. I agree totaly with you there thus the reason I chipped in for the park sticker whether I use them or not this coming summer. Larry
  17. Did the same as you Dray back in January. Don't know how much I'll actually use the state parks but even a couple day trip or three would pay for itself soon enough. Larry
  18. Check this thread fo info -- http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=57812 Larry
  19. Yep Hell is a neat little place. As noted not a whole lot to it -- just the bar/grill, ice cream /souvenir shop, and a small party store is there. I go around that area quite frequently as there as some decent twisties amongst the lakes out that way. One of few places you can do that in my area. The last time I was there in October was giving the Annie Bear a tour. Larry BTW: Michigan also has to other towns/villages with neat names. Climax, Intercourse, Paradise and a few others that escape my mind for now
  20. Don wishing you the best of outcomes for your upcoming surgery & recovery. We'll be keeping you in thoughts & prayers as long as needed. Larry
  21. Welcome back Dale. Maybe we'll see you down the road somewhere again. Larry
  22. Isn't that the truth. And Boomer ya know them pygmies always have the last laugh. Larry
  23. Yea I'll 2nd this opinion as well. I always ship thru USPS to my customers in Canada. Though you may not have this option if buying from a company using just UPS as their shipper.
  24. Nice find and hope he enjoys it for a long time . Larry
  25. Depending on where in Canada you're at you can also have a tire shipped to a close to the border member and either pick it up from them or even do the install in the US. This is what I'm doing now for a fellow Canadian just across the border from me. Larry
