  1. Best bet would be to let one of our US members order what you want and shipped to their home. From there it could easly be shipped to you without any problems. If there's someone closer to you that will do that great, if not let me know and I'll take care of ordering for you. Larry
  2. Add my thoughts & prayers to the list as well. Wishing you the best of outcomes here. Larry
  3. Been researching electric versions of carb synchronizers. Here's a couple --- http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TMT-TS-71 & http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TMT-TS-111 The bottom one would require two units for our bikes or you would need to switch lines to the different carbs as needed. Not that pratical & time consuming as well. The major drawback is costs of these units. pricey to say the least. Found some others on the net but they cost even more than these two. Larry
  4. And from the looks of the parks, the State needs all the funding it can get. All the budget cuts are leaving them poorly cared for. Sad to see. I agree totaly with you there thus the reason I chipped in for the park sticker whether I use them or not this coming summer. Larry
  5. Did the same as you Dray back in January. Don't know how much I'll actually use the state parks but even a couple day trip or three would pay for itself soon enough. Larry
  6. Check this thread fo info -- http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=57812 Larry
  7. Yep Hell is a neat little place. As noted not a whole lot to it -- just the bar/grill, ice cream /souvenir shop, and a small party store is there. I go around that area quite frequently as there as some decent twisties amongst the lakes out that way. One of few places you can do that in my area. The last time I was there in October was giving the Annie Bear a tour. Larry BTW: Michigan also has to other towns/villages with neat names. Climax, Intercourse, Paradise and a few others that escape my mind for now
  8. Don wishing you the best of outcomes for your upcoming surgery & recovery. We'll be keeping you in thoughts & prayers as long as needed. Larry
  9. Welcome back Dale. Maybe we'll see you down the road somewhere again. Larry
  10. Isn't that the truth. And Boomer ya know them pygmies always have the last laugh. Larry
  11. Yea I'll 2nd this opinion as well. I always ship thru USPS to my customers in Canada. Though you may not have this option if buying from a company using just UPS as their shipper.
  12. Nice find and hope he enjoys it for a long time . Larry
  13. Depending on where in Canada you're at you can also have a tire shipped to a close to the border member and either pick it up from them or even do the install in the US. This is what I'm doing now for a fellow Canadian just across the border from me. Larry
  14. Here in Michigan we have mandatory 10% mixed ethanaol/gas so wonder how using it full time would eventually clog up the fuel system on our rides. I always put some stablizer in prior to winter layover but even then the bike runs a bit rough for the 1st couple of tanks. Sea foam to the rescue. Larry
  15. Glad to hear this news. Sure the road ahead may get bumpy but being there and talking things out can & will resolve issuses that crop up. Let the healing begin. Larry
  16. Ok back to the main topic ( I think). Maybe there's a set of Diamond R foldaway foot rests the lady is resting her feet on. Larry Back to the previous comments.
  17. One thing everyone needs to check is the throttle cables and cruise control cable from the vaccumn controler. Be sure they're set per specifications as to the adjustments called for. Like Don, I'm pretty sure I could set my cruise in 5th gear at 45 mph and it would stay there for as long as I didn't trip it or run into hills. Larry
  18. I think the trike version of the Vision looks much better then the two wheeled one. Don't know if I'd want one thou. Larry
  19. I have the Road Star versions on my bike as well. 55 watts as opposed to the 35 watts on the RSV versions. As to the switch, I eliminated it and put in a stainless plug. I use a 3 gang switch housing mounted over my clutch resvoir. Larry
  20. Something like that. In our area we probably got 2" give or take a bit. Not only that we'll be lucky to see temps above freezing next week. Larry
  21. Can't help much in finding your daughter but will pray that she is found safe & sound. Larry
  22. Don't know how my 2nd gen compares to the 1st gen you have on the master cylinder but in my experience of converting to the trike I found the stock master lacking in enough volume to fully expand the brakes for good stopping. I used a Wilwood universal master cyclinder kit from Jegs. I used this one -- http://www.jegs.com/i/Wilwood/950/260-5920/10002/-1 But there are others that could be used also. I did do some altering to the one I installed so it would fit between the engine and frame. I used the factory brake linkages along with SS brake lines. Now brakes are excellent. Oh I have Ford disc brakes instead of drums now thou I did use the drum type for a year. Larry
  23. That's all pretty scary stuff out there today. In my day there were the normal drugs and booze. Today it's a whole new ball game. All any parent can do is try to stay abreast of what's going on with their kids and keeping educated for them & the kids on all of this stuff. Good luck Larry
  24. All good advice here . I would add one more thing to think about and that is if you do add a sidercar then I would suggest putting in the V-max rear differential gears. The lower gear ratio will be a blessing. Larry
  25. Nice pics Kat. Glad to see Annie bear on the move again and enjoying sights of this country. Annie & Quickstep are gonna have to do some serious traveling here in the staes this summer to catch up with the Bear. Larry
