I've been on 2 poker runs in the past and both were nothing more then an organized bar hopping run, IMHO. At least the groups I rode with were doing that. To be fair one could of went solo on either one but for me I found that in most cases people used the runs as an excuse to bar hop. Sorry to hear your friend went down 6pak and hope he'll heal well. It shouldn't be touching anything, thou as noted the tolerances are tight. Did you have a spacer block between the bracket and horn? If not then add a 1/2" spacer of some kind. Normally the Steble horn comes with a square black plastic block. Try readjusting the posistion a bit as well to gain clearance. Larry

Just A note here wishing my wife, Joyce Happy Anniversary. We've been together 44 years now or could I say just over 2/3rds of my life. Wow has it been a ride. Looking forward to the next 20 + or whatever the Lord sees fit to allow us. Larry

Rake kits for the RSV can be had from Steerite http://www.sidecars.ca/steerite.htm and maybe others. I forget just what mine cost but they're not cheap thou. I have this on my trike and it made a huge difference in head shake going over bumps and pot holes in the road. You could check with Hannigan and see who does their raked trees as well. Another point to consider is the steering neck bearings. They need to be tighter then what Yamaha calls for in the manuals torque setting. Steeright suggests 25 ft lbs on the stem nut. Larry

Sorry to hear this Randy. Some things happen beyound our control and about all one can do then is roll with the punches life throws at ya. Maybe you could convince the renters to leave a few weeks earlier? Larry

Nice badge there Annie. Will the International ones you're making be the same only having Internaional Rally on top? Larry

Hey Joe. I'm planning on meeting Randy & Ian sometime Friday morning and then contiue on to Don's from wherever we decide to meet at. Probably at the truck stop on exit 15 by Monroe off of I-75. I tossed out an invite to TJ as well in another post here. Will try to get a hold of Al later as well and anyone else who plans on going done on Friday. Larry

Today I went to the HF store near me to check out their lift tables. Had one in stock & on the floor display. It was a foot operated hydraulic system & rated at 1,000 lbs. selling for $500. Got home and decided to do a web search to see what's out there. WOW a lot to choose from. Prices seem to run about $500 to $1000 with most lift tables rated at the 1,000lb rate. A few in that price range even went to 15-1600 lb ratings. I also found 1 company that had a 2000lb rated lift table. No idea on price of that one as you have to call the company for pricing. On another note I was even entertaining the idea of a auto low-mid rise scissor lift that I could use for my cars as well as the trike & other bikes. :mo money: Larry

Just when we thought winter was done for the year we are now getting/going to get 2-4" of that crap once again before noon tomorrow. I know some folks have had way more snow then us here in southern Michigan but really enough is enough I say. Larry

While there may be some merit to this device I'll 2nd Straycatt. To me this falls into the same category as the new cars that will parallel park your car for you. Practice makes perfect. Larry
