  1. Thanks guys ....Sprayed with Crud Buster, left sitting for a few minutes.A section about 1 foot long of 1" sch. 40 pvc from uderneath and 1 tap with hammer did the deed

  3. Any one have advise on how to push up the air joint bracket to remove the spring wire clip so that the fork leg will drop down (shown manual page 5-30) If it just pushes up it must take a 500 pound ape - cause mine won't move Thanks all

  5. I have a brake fluid leak that I am having trouble stopping. The fluid is coming from between the front caliper halves on the upper side when mounted on the bike. I have been unable to find replacemnt seals for the two bolts that hold the two caliper halves togeather. If you look at the picture you can see the area I am talking about. This is the right side caliper that is NOT part of the unified braking system I no one has ideas does anyone have a caliper for sale for an 83’. Thanks Steve

  8. My 83 has a broken connector piece that goes from the rear blake light switch to the brake pedal. The piece seems to be not much more than a wire with a few coils near the pedal end. The switch will activate the brake light but with no connection to pedal no brake lights. Anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance Steve
  9. I have a shop and tools, bring the 86 motor over and we will tear into it. (Hey I could use the education) No luck on the proportioning valve, it is still "frozen". Front brakes done! Steve
