just a note...when I did my 96 RS I didn't have any noticeable leaks and none that showed up with oxy act but made a difference after I replaced them

They fit fine but Im sure hank has good reason for disputing the use of them Just looking for other feedback is all

I am in the midst of removing the front fairings on my 09 venture and was directed to tankerhank as he had already done the mod. He indicated the already installed pod filters I put on wouldn't work. I was just wondering if anybody else had done this with success. Not that I don't trust Hanks word but it seems curious that it wouldn't work on the new gens when it works so well on the first gens. I did it to my 96 and It made a world of difference. Comments

Lol mostly busted up when it was originally dropped, nothing was worth saving

I did the filters like I did on the 96 and it runs really strong. The 4 independent filters under the tank eliminate the turbulence and forced air. Its all about the junk that I don't want to lose in the fairings like the cruise and sound equipment. Pic attached of modified filters.

I am in the process of modifying a 09 venture. I currently own a 96 that has been severely upgraded...everything short of the vmax rear end cause I cant find one reasonable and I will never sell that bike. I have removed the lower fairing and installed barons big bar. While I like the venture I cant like the football helmets to protect your feet.. they gotta go. Trouble is there is a bunch of electrical contained there. Has anybody else done this? I know lots of people try and upgrade the tour for the bags and comfort of the venture but I cant find where people have modified the other way. I removed the AIS and the massive air box and installed 4 K&N filters so I have some real estate avail. Comments
