    When i take the little rubber boot off of the sync nipple it'll rev up momentarily but there really is no change. Truly, I am no carb expert. But shouldn't taking the cap off cause a change? Wouldn't that lean it out with the cap off? Somebody else please confirm; sounds like putting on new caps should be tried here. And then do the sync too!

    Cool. I have to admit; at first glance I thought you were looking for Mafia websites! It may sound counter-intuitive but one good thing about white cars is they are among the easiest to keep clean looking. They just don't show the grime the way dark colors do! I have a white van and a silver grand prix, we never have to wash them!

    Ya I went to esurance and it says "an Allstate company" I put in my zip code to start a quote and it changed the page to progressive! I just put in similar coverages on the progressive page and price is $415 but we have the $186 MCCA fee (Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association).

    Don't let this mess up your road trip. (How big a trip?) Buy/Beg/Borrow a fuel pump somehow. You can buy a Mr. Gasket pump at Autozone or Advance Auto or O'riellys if you cant get an Ebay pump shipped in time. There is a thread in the tech section on how to do the Mr Gasket installation.

    What about the inlet; mine won't let the fuel (or blowing) go back, but it will let fuel run through the inlet.

    So I was asked if my username had to do with peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. I do enjoy pbj's but that's not the whole story. The first time I used PBJMAN was for my XBOX Live account when they started the online service in 2002. (Try to get a simple 6-letter name on there now!) I didn't want to use something random or something silly like "#1KILLER" like most of the kids on there so I reversed my initials J B P to PBJ and it looked too short so I added MAN. Still have it on xbox and have used in on some other forums. What's your story?

    Peppy or not it's still very sporty! For some reason anything with a stick shift always makes me feel like a race car driver. Although I also love some pb&j (crunchy, with strawberry or raspberry preserves) that's not why I use PBJMAN. I feel a new thread coming on......

    Gary, good find on the pump with the 8mm inlets! I wish I had known the difference before I ordered mine. Have you tried it yet? Does it stop the fuel from running through when it is not running?

    Ha- don't see that word "Etta" in print to often. It's my mother's name. I don't have a 1st gen, but aren't motorcycle petcocks always on the left side underneath the tank. It should be plainly visible. Someone will chime in or post a pic before long. (Some motorcycles have dual petcocks, one on each side)

    That's real cool, should help a little getting through the "bike no more" transition. What kind of performance on the MBG? Are they peppy?

    Hmm..... I used to take inventory at a building supply warehouse, so this should be a snap. Let's see, in the first photo I see tWEAKs as the centerfold, then going from L to R I see the bike that's holding up your shop vac hose. It appears to have a Cylon helmet for a trunk. Then right next to that I see another rear end with a reflector that didn't catch the flash. Right above it is another reflector that did catch the flash, so that one might be at a different angle, and thus, another bike. Plus, the visible handlebar there with the two gauges and mirrors, seems like the geometry is off if its only one bike, so I'm going with two. Moving along, there's that little scooter/moped thing that looks like it pooped on tWEAKs' seat. Then beyond tWEAKs' trunk, I see a white front fender and a red one, so two more. There are some unidentified red reflectors between the pooping moped and your trunk, but I'm gonna guess those are the rear ends of the white fender bike and red fender bike. Last thing I see in the first pic is the HONDA seat back and rear tire of a scoo-ped type of bike, and it completes the circle of 7 bikes that seem to be all turning their backs toward your beloved. So.....8 in that pic? I'll just do that one for now so this doesn't become a novel. Edit..... Plus one, I see an unidentified right handlebar with grip there in the background by Tweeks right rearview mirror. There's probably more, so much going on there! Hope I'm close!

    Yeah, just 3. The back of the seat/taillight with the trunk are one bike. The picture makes it look like the seat and taillight are closer and the trunk is farther, but it's just an illusion of the pic somehow.
