  1. Thanks guys for the hints. First thing i will check the plugs for any signs of running rich. if that's not it then I will be looking for some fellow VR members living close by that would be willing to help me do the stuff that RedRider mentioned.
  2. To say the truth It is pretty hot here this past week... high 30s celsius...so maybe that is the reason. I did not check the plugs... they were replaced as part of the recent service and the service guy did not mention anything about them.
  3. Hello VRs... I need some advice. Some time ago I posted a question about possible exhaust leak and got many responses there ... thanks again for that. While I did run couple of seafoam bottles through my RSV to get rid of that exhaust smell, it helped a bit but did not fix it completely. Now as the title of this thread says, I just experienced the WORST EVER gas milage on my bike since i got it last year... I had only 226 km (140 miles) on the odometer when the low fuel light came up. I went to the gas station and filled 16L (4.23gal) of gas. Recently I had the 25000 km service done by the local Yamaha service and I was told that it is in perfect condition and there is absolutely no problems or issues with the bike. I still have the same problem with exhaust fumes... just after the short 15 minute ride to work the lower part of my jeans smell like exhaust. I have two sets of pipes, the OEM and BUBs, but it doesn't really matter which ones i use... the result is the same. I have tried to look around for any cracks or holes or anything along the entire exhaust, but was not able to find anything. And now that milage... Can you guys throw some ideas/pointers??? I'm slowly giving up
  4. I have used in the past IAmHere by EXOOC... free on google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=exooc.IamHERE&hl=en You would start it up, set few things and it would generatre a URL at http://exooc.com/ that you can share with anyone. On the site it would show real time progress... Used it only on couple of occasions and it worked fine.
  5. Unfortunately due to the work schedule I will not be able to attend this year, which totally sucks as I really wanted to meet all the folks in person Oh well, hopefully next time. Have a great time guys, and have a cold one for me
  6. Can you post the link to the passing light you got?
  7. Awesome, thanks
  8. Hello all, Quick question... I was checking the bike out today and have noticed this small tube in the picture... Is it supposed to be attached to anything on the other side???
  9. If I go... and I really would like to (will not know until mid of that week) I would be going Saturday morning... Any one is planning to go on Saturday and come back Sunday?
  10. I did not get an answer, but I've been looking on my own at some local places. As for me coming, I would really like to... I will not know for sure until middle of that week (work related).
  11. I guess it really depends on the GPS itself. I tried a similar method with my unit, but it would not hold in place as the back of my GPS is flat. In the end I had to spend some $$$ for the actual mount
  12. point taken LOL... You would think that an IT guy would know better hahaha
  13. Thanks Joe... I will buy this harness and redo the wires... will be even nicer and cleaner
  14. Thanks Jeff, Would you have any link or a picture or a part number of that adapter???
