  1. I came real close to buying an identical one like that but the low pressure behind the windscreen kept pulling my sun glasses off. Fantastic bike other wise, a real attention getter. Congrats.
  2. Oh the joys of boat ownership, I feel your pain.
  3. Guess what we just had for supper.
  4. Bear tooth is very nice, we had hail in august last year.
  5. Good to know, even if it saves you time not having to change them as often.
  6. Is it posible that fresh standard ngk's would have the same effect? It was 90K after all.
  7. I was thinking about wiring the HID relay from the oil pressure switch signal, in theory the lights go on after you have oil pressue and not when you are cranking. Will this work?
  8. Where can one get one of these time delay relays? I will be installing one of these hid units soon.
  9. I don't get the "prank", that is just what I looked like in high school!
  10. Would be fun to ride a larger version of the small ones but we'll probably have to wait until they are declassified you know the military is gonna slap a machine gun on them.
  11. Yuk, I'm not gonna eat at all after seeing that! Lol.
  12. I'm proud of the venture for holding it's own with 538 cc's and 20 hp less than the wing.
  13. I do believe he means in the 1/4 mile, sure a wing will do 135 on the open road.
  14. If you notice the wing get a better holeshot every time.
  15. Came across this on you tube, kinda cool. Goldwing Drag Racing:
  16. Hey Puc, I too love those classic softails especially the springers. This is a 01 Suzuki Volusia (VL800) with a lot of custom bits on it. The wife and I made it as far as Glacier Nation Park last summer. Hi Don, I was only able to sneak in 25 miles before we had to leave for an engagement. BTW I sent you a txt Friday and did not hear back. Oh and your mailbox is full.
  17. Congo rats.
  18. Wow that looks nasty what did the doctor say? Is it fractured? Heal up soon. We are all in your corner here, my (negative) comments just reflect a reality that I have exerienced. That is a pretty decent hole in the door of the car took some force!
  19. As the title says, bike fired right up, she's a bit dusty but it felt gooood! http://i1352.photobucket.com/albums/q654/Pauljewl/20150410_165002_zpsuamdb3lo.jpg The venture is still in pieces.
  20. The police will look at this as no one got seriously injured and that is a good day, they won't give him a polygraph or even revisit the scene, if they cared that much there would have been a ticket involves to lay blame. Unfortunately we all have t be on guard and have a possible escape route need be. I know, who would think it a such a low speed. It is sad to hear accident stories but at the same time we all can learn form others mishaps, I am just sharing my experiences and ASSUMING the outcome. Best of luck, Motiv
  21. Hey Syscrusher, sorry to hear about your incident. Glad your not seriously injured. I don't usually don't voice my opinions on such matters and I am by no means a lawyer but this is how most likely it will go down. The boy that turned in front of you will claim that you passed him on his left and he didn't even see you coming (coached by parents most likely to save his insurance record). Unless you have a witness or video backing up your version of events it will be your word against his, actually you are lucky that you didn't get cited. As far as the insurance company is concerned, they know the likelihood of how this would all play out in court and they can and will make a determination who is at fault since no one got cited and that determination will be based on how they lose less money, your insurance may end up paying for his damages and you may end up paying higher rates. (operative word is MAY). If it were me I would first make 100% sure my injures are superficial then I would make nice with the father to cover as much for the bike as possible and cover your health care deductible because you may end up with a junk bike and higher rates. So sorry this is not what you wanted to hear but unfortunately this is the world we now live in. I have been through a similar scenario and lost. Just my Hope it works out for you.
  22. That's because you have to go through Amy and get them both to come![emoji2]
  23. So the results are in, I shall check and shim thy steed to the upper tolerances per manual. Thank you all for your much appreciated input. Regards, Motiv [emoji2]
