  1. I've been using the kruzer kaddy for a few years. I found one at a harley shop on sale for $24.95. www.kruzerkaddy.net.
  2. Hey Leadwolf56, You used to get your wife to hold the cup. LOL
  3. That is pretty country. Spent the night in Franklin the thursday before memorial day. Got to eat at one of my favorite places, Fat Buddies Bar B Q.
  4. Hey YamaDuck, Where did you find the 2010 lineup?
  5. I'm going to buy a set of mic mutes at maintenance day. I asked Bill Morphy with mic-mutes if he would help with installation. He said he had only installed on a gold wing. Anyone with mic mutes on their venture be willing to help?
  6. Memorial day weekend I rode home from Chimney Rock, NC to Albany, Ga in the rain. There were a few times I had to pull off the road it was raining so hard. When I got home there wasn't a spot on my bike that didn't have the gray road film on it. Yesterday I put my bike on the lift, removed seats, removed the saddle bags and I put a spit shine on the bike like you wouldn't believe. I cleaned everything including the pumpkin on the rear end. I was going to pull in Freebirds on maintenance day with a shiney bike but now it looks like I will pull in with gray road film all over the bike again. I should have know that if I wash and wax my bike it rains.
  7. I got it, I got it. I found an old tire tool in my shop. With the kickstand down on a piece of 2 x 4 I drove the tire tool in the ground next to the kick stand. I took a piece of electrical wire and tied it in a loop and hung the loop over the hooked end of the spring and around the tire tool. The ground is soft so with the wire around the tire tool I pulled the tire down toward the ground stretching the spring. Once it was stretched enough I hooked the spring to the kick stand. I then cut the electrical wire and removed it. I'm now back in business. Thanks for the suggestions. If I had been living during the civil war the south would have won.
  8. Hey KiteSquid, The kick stand is down now but I got my wife to sit on the bike and hold it up while I moved the kick stand up and down. I thought there might be a point where the spring would fit. I tried putting a coin between the springs but this spring is so strong I can't even pull it enought to get a coin in it. I don't know what to do. The kick stand won't stay up without the spring.
  9. Just had my bike on the lift. When I started letting it down I head a pop. When I removed the lift adapted and pulled the lift from under my bike I say a big spring on the ground. It is the spring that holds the kick stand. I have tried and tried to put the spring on but I can't get it to stretch enough. Anyone know how I can get this spring back on.
  10. Yammer Dan, You been drinking cool aid again?
  11. A few years ago when my kids were in high school they were always coming home with something to sell. My daughter was on the dance line and came home selling candy bars for $1.00. When it was time to turn in the money she asked me for $19.00. I asked why and she said because we ate 19 candy bars. Later I contacted the superintendent to ask if I could quote on the school insurance the next time they took bids. He said, " We don't want to get into that right now." So the next time any of my kids were asked to raise money for the school I told them to tell the superintendent that their dad said "He doesn't want to get into that right now."
  12. Hey Bugsplat, My wife and I got back from a North Carolina trip monday. The weather was great until sunday. We got wet most of the way home. I have two of the edset adapters for earbuds and they work fine. I don't know what would cause your problem.
  13. The family still needs to sue the GA State Patrol.
  14. Hey SaltyDawg, I use the Mr Clean system too and its one of the few gadgets I've tried over the years that actually works. But, I have heard they are discontinuing this system. I noticed Wal Mart only had one bottle of the cleaner on the shelf the last time I was there. Has anyone heard about this?
  15. Is anyone going to maintenance day?
  16. Hey Bubber, Now that I understand. I do that more and more as I get older.
  17. Hey Bubber, I don't inderstand. What do you mean?
  18. I have an 05 RSV. I sent both seats to Rick for the mod. Got them back and rode to Chimney Rock, NC and back. I love my seat after the mod. Can ride all day and don't get the burning in my tailbone. My wife says she likes the stock seat better. Nothing against Rick, he does excellent work. I guess my wife, ah em, how can I say this, has a wider load and said the stock seat is better for her. Would anyone like to swap even a stock pillow passenger seat for one with the butler mod? Our passenger seat is in excellent condition. Contact me if you would like to swap. Thanks.
  19. Why would you not call your insurance company?
  20. When my dad gave me my first gun, a 22 rifle, he said never, never point a gun at anyone. He also said many people have been killed with an unloaded gun, so never point a gun, unloaded or loaded at anyone. A friend of mine violated this rule and almost shot me in the butt with his 22 rifle. I don't remember how old I was but I wasn't old enough to have a drivers license. I spent the night with my friend and I was laying face down on the bed in his room. He had a 22 rifle on a gun rack in the room. It was supposed to be unloaded. He took the gun off the rack and pointed it at my butt and was going to pull the trigger but for some reason didn't. When he started to put the gun back on the rack he pulled the bolt action back and a bullet was ejected from the chamber. It scared both of us. I have remembered what my dad said every since.
  21. Hey Rick, I think my seat was the other one you shipped thursday. I sure hope so. I am planning a trip memorial day weekend. Hope you enjoy your time off. Eddie (ediddy)
  22. It amzes me that if you quote any facts about harley you are bashing. Now that you have the ultra go to the harely tech talk web site and sign up. But be prepared, you've never heard harley bashing like you will hear from other harley riders.
  23. My wife and I are riding to Chimney Rock memorial day weekend. We will be staying in Chimney Rock friday and saturday night. Are there any sights we should try to see while there. Thanks.
  24. I represent Victoria also. They are owned by Nationwide. Nationwide agents can only represent Nationwide so Nationwide formed Victoria for independent agents like myself that do business with many companies. Nationwide claim reps handle the Victoria claims. When Victoria first introduced their motorcycle program they gave you a free membership in AMA the first year and were endorsed by the AMA. They have discontinued that program and aren't as competetive as they were at first. Out of 10 quotes they will be competetive 0nce or twice. I just insured an 06 Goldwing that was with GEICO paying $585.00 per year with $2,500 accessory coverage. The owner put a special suspension system on the goldwing that cost $2,500 and just purchased an aluma trailer that he paid $2,000 for. I gave him $5,000 accessory coverage and Victoria was only $285.00 per year. But they aren't this competetive every time.
  25. Hey Cyote61, I don't understand. What is the $300.00 for that you asked progressive to pay. Thanks
