Well Hannigan-san, these three instantaneous pages worth should get the job done in terms of making you feel comfy enough? That's no Fluke, Bud. You most definitely have found The Honey-Hole. Welcome aboard!~ Rgds, WRIDR

We're still grinning after 30 minutes. Pucster, you might not see a 'resemblance', but we spotted a few items here 'n there, just going from one handlebar to the other. Figure we'll get'r all done in another hour, or two... Guessing the rope gets deployed with a Sea Anchor, to keep the rear end in line on wet days? Rgds, WRIDR

No B.S. at all... we'd buy that Truck merely to climb in, and lovingly look at that gorgeous Dash all day long. Can't even come close to remembering how long it's been since we had a Dash loaded with those Gauges!!! It's right up there with the Good Old Days' tiny no-draft front door windows. Gotta be real OLD to recall those!~ Hardeehar! We can hear our younger Guys going: "Whut the H*ll's he talking about??" BEAUTIFUL STUFF. Envy, envy, etc... Rgds, WRIDR

Boy, that IS a Shocker! Hadn't seen his name anywhere in recent years, particularly since the Fall-out with Harley-D. Believe he was forced to scramble pretty heavily after that, and sincerely hope somehow he was able to dig out of what appeared to be a gigantic Fiscal Hole. The Guy deserves a really decent Send-off, in terms of what he accomplished for the American Big Bike Scene, AND The Industry in general. The man was a brilliant Designer, 'way ahead of his Time. Migawdness, you Guys are AMAZING! Tonight's 'Semi-On Topic Ramblings' STARTED with a Discussion on Pacemakers! Continued along with extremely-well-named March Madness. Then followed THAT with Personal Experience-Enhanced philosophical input on 'Broken Mirror Fears'!!! Correct us if wrong, but all of which does not possess a great deal of Motorcycling/Venture Rider-related topicality (think we maybe just invented a new word here?). Best of all, nobody gives a Phiddler's Phart about it being juust slightly off topic! Including Don... hopefully. We luvvit! Warmest Rgds, WRIDR

Naked '83 Honda Goldwing. Bought ours new in '84 for $4,000 CAD. Rode it across the Continent from Windsor/Detroit area, down to LA, up to Vcr, and back home FIVE times with only a bug catcher 'shield and throw-over bags. NEVER let us down. Sadly, the charger couldn't keep up with the draw of added Passing Lamps. Took a lonnnng time to figure out what the problem was. We let it go to a mechanic-Type, and he quickly figured out what the problem was. Color us STOOPID. Rgds, WRIDR

Started noticing this a few years back, but WE think the 'Wind Factor' is getting progressively worse. Currently things have reached a point where the number of Days it's safe to launch our wee 12' "Meat Hunter" are becoming quite rare. That's a shame cuz we love our little 30 yr old Barge, and not much can beat it for slow speed control. Hope it's simply a 'Cycle' we're passing thru, but if so, it would be nice if the Cycle is a Short One.~ Rgds, WRIDR

Quote from Puc: I pulled winterization runs on both Maggie and Tweeksis today = 4 March, 2019. Maggie just squinted and ran when I backed her hind end outside the basement into the cold but that Tweeksis,, she got snappy with me and even refused to allow her rear tire to roll over the sliding door floor plate. I had to allow that old girl to remain inside with nothing but the very tips of her muffs hangin out in the cold. -------------- The Pucster nails us AGAIN! The underlined words above were exactly why this 76 yr old had to wave goodbye to our beloved '09 RSTD! Weighing in at nearly a half Ton, things reached a point where even backing our Miss Daisy over a paper-thin carpet runner behind her rear Tire was no longer possible. We downgraded to a 400cc Yamaha Majesty Scooter at roughly half her weight, with no requirement to 'swing a leg over' when Saddling Up. Mind you, our Majesty (aka: 'Madge') is no Slug. She'll cruise The Big Road all day at 70-80 mph, but sadly cannot replace 'The Feel' of a full-blown Big Ride. We miss that dearly, but Health Issues have eliminated any thoughts of going back. Rgds, WRIDR

At 76 young years, we've seen a lot, BUT... we've never seen an Assault Weapon with a TV Monitor hanging on the end of the Barrel/Magazine?? And how the Hector did your Wife get it to fold down? Okay, okay... we KNOW it's a picture on the Wall; just yanking on Ya. Hugs, WRIDR

Oh, YEAH! THAT in Spades! Whutta great looking RIDE; sincere Congrats on an awesome Comebacker. There's a positive side to ANY serious problem, and this is a classic example. Color us JEALOUS, big time. In addition to which (not being a Smartass here), you're never gonna get whacked by anyone failing to see ya.~ We had NO IDEA they produced a Bike in such an amazing color!!! Double WOW. Rgds, WRIDR

Bless your uber-kind Heart, Pucster! Up until recently our problems are nuthin, compared to how your poor Little Brother is suffering. We FEEL for him. Our biggest issue: the 'enhanced side effect' caused by Treatment. In this case Arthritis is the Villain, bending us over almost 80-90 degrees above the waist. Not funny, BUT comical results have occurred as we bounce off stuff not easily seen unless 'heads up' posture is strictly maintained. So far nobody else has been seriously hurt!~ Hugs, WRIDR

-------------------------------- Thanks for the Good Wishes, Puc! Unfortunately "Get Well" isn't in the Book. With your Cancer Knowledge, here's The Diagnosis: "Stage 4 Prostate Cancer; Metastatic Adeno Carcinoma - shifted to Pelvic Bone". Battling this Devil since 2006 with fantastic Family Support. Sadly the Clock is now ticking LOUDER, but we'll keep trying to stretch it out. Rgds, WRIDR

So. All this talk about nice fluffy White Stuff, AND odd drop of rain, falls on some bittersweet ears today. Assignment: favor for 'The Neighbor' - who can't do so personally becuz HE's sitting comfortably on the patio of his Winter Escape in Naples, Flaw. Hope you see the large white propane tank on upper right in attached foto? That tank has a gauge indicating how much propane remains after a chilly Winter here in S.E. Ontario's Prince Edward County. Behind the foto is our place, btw. Objective: navigating that long, several inches thick Ice Field, partially snow-covered, and grabbing foto evidence of said gauge, to relieve or heighten concerns about the Tank lasting until his Spring return. Naturally, to add further drama, the land slopes impressively toward a ten foot drop to The Bay of Quinte. (Later: made it there 'n back via our 2016 Yammy Wolverine R-Spec with CHAINED front tires. Without them, you wouldn't have a hope in H. Btw: 'Wolfy' got 'r done - just under 50% left in the Tank.) Apologies to all our Deep South Pals; we KNOW you're wishing for similar opportunities.~ Rgds, WRIDR

I'm back at the well of knowledge (Fishing Lures)
WRIDR replied to ragtop69gs's topic in Watering Hole
Once again our beloved Brethren (sp?) have generously widened the already extensive Knowledge of our Clan. One can only wonder: "What's NEXT"?? - Hula Hoops, anyone?~ Patience Don, things will sort themselves out. (Images of Torn Hair lying on The Floor come to mind.~) Rgds, WRIDR -
You did one Fantastic Job dumping her, Mister Man. That was some Seriously Good Riding. Rgds WRIDR

I'm back at the well of knowledge (Fishing Lures)
WRIDR replied to ragtop69gs's topic in Watering Hole
Pretty sure we have a Tackle Box with Every Single One of those Lures stacked inside. Problem is: where to find THAT Box??? Thought we had SIX in total. Must be hiding somewhere... Rgds, WRIDR -
First sign of Spring? For sure; Somebody's gettin' ITCHY!!!~ Might be juuust a little early, BUT plenty of time to do 'er right! Rgds, WRIDR

Whoa! In VICTORIA??? Is that allowed?~ Rgds, WRIDR

Correction/explanation necessary. When we said "That's OUR Bike..." we had forgotten the changed paint scheme in our inserted photo. A local Detailer owed us serious coin for advts., and suckered us into accepting a "Gorgeous" custom paint job in dark, dark green as payment for the Overdues. Our Rhonda's original color was exactly the same as Ty's, and the new green version was borderline AWFUL. Lessons learned; at least we got him off The Books. Rgds, WRIDR

We're thinking the number of Locals who've received Tickets from Skid wouldn't be a real big Problem, BUT... ...if he DOESN'T win, all those disgruntled Voters might want to be keeping a very careful eyeball on their Speedos DOWN THE ROAD!~ Best of Luck. Good on ya for stepping up, Skid! Rgds, WRIDR

Holy cow Sty, that's our first Big Bike!! Ours was an '83 naked (obviously!~), and we rode it across the Continent five times without a hiccup, starting in late Spring of '84. We were running a Mom 'n Pop small community weekly paper, averaging 100 hrs a week - nobody else would get up in the middle of the night to take fire 'n accident fotos. Every time we started biting Folks heads off, they'd tell us 'where to go'... on the Bike!~ Those were great days, and Rhonda was a great ride. Wish we still had her; next Best-ever-Bike was our '09 RSTD, but by that time we were in our '70s, and that top-heavy issue became too much for us to handle. Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane!~ Rgds, WRIDR

What a tremendous Link! It should be employed as mandatory reading for every Kid entering High School, just to show them how lucky they are to have avoided a Start in Life like this. Rgds, WRIDR

Like the other Comments, we'll take the Chill over the Heat any time... except the next Day or Two. Watching the 6 o'clock news out of Toronto tonight, with those poor Suckers wading thru several inches of Crap pretending to be Snow, would normally be highly entertaining IF... we didn't know Next Up is Yours Truly. We've always dealt with our own Weather Problems personally, but this year (age 76) with our 900' driveway, we hired a local Contractor with a Beast of a Blower hooked up to his heated Cab Tractor. Tonight we're thinking it may be the Smartest Move Ever. Still gotta 'Walk the Dawg' before turning in. The Lady's gonna owe us Big Time on this one, along with the Poo Pad we'll have to carve out come The Dawn. 'The Heat' is closing 'The Gap', BIG Time.~ Rgds, WRIDR
