If it doesn't conflict with your planned route(s), we'd suggest the Pacific Coast Highway South of 'Frisco. Gorgeous Road, and you'd be on the Ocean side of the Highway heading down. Awesome, IF you aren't afraid of heights.~ Plenty of spots to stop, and simply suck it up. About halfway down - if we recall correctly - sits quaint San Luis Obispo (with the Hearst Castle just above it. Cost you half a day but worth it, and SLO is a good overnight stop). Rgds, WRIDR

Beautiful stuff Bubber, every bit of it! Thank you. Warmest Rgds, WRIDR

Hiya, Pucster: Forgive us for a tragic Word of Caution here. You'll probably recall this one too. Years back, we think it may have been John Deere, had a "Bring Your Kids To Work" Day. One of the hi-lites was letting the Kids tool around on some of the equipment, including miniature Trucks, Go Karts, et al. One of the younger ones jumped into something like a baby Gator, went buzzing around the Plant, and then tragically drove under machinery just high enough to let the Gator thru, but NOT THE CHILD. Horrible, horrible result. Watch like a Hawk for every second Bud. We know you will. Warmest regards, WRIDR

Migawd, you Guys are SUCH Good People! We LOVE this Forum!~ Warmest Rgds, WRIDR

MAN, that is so scary our neck hair's standing on end!~ Real stupid question: "Air pressure?" Rgds, WRIDR

Cheezies, Don! You are the LAST Guy we'd wish something like this on. Dunno if you recall our personal problem - fighting The Big One since 2006. They gave us five years tops. But... Med-Tech is SO GOOD today even the worst stuff gets stretched out for years 'n years, so PLEASE don't do anything drastic. ALL this stuff takes TIME. Only thing we'd suggest is obvious - you are biting off a chunk of Work-Related stuff that would choke a healthy horse. Look for things to cut back... except for US! With all the Expert Class Prayers in our midst, The VR Group is probably one of your Best Weapons for this Fight. Hang in Bud, ALL of us have your Back. Gentle Hugs, WRIDR

Yeah, we'll double up what Don said. It is one freak'n GORGEOUS machine. Rgds, WRIDR

Extremely well-written Blog, Graham. In the brief time you've been with us, we've always enjoyed reading your comments. We'd add one thing: the 'Glue' that holds our beloved Forum together is Administrator Don Nelson. He never seeks compliments, but is 'way more than deserving of same. He's the main reason we enjoy being a Member. You'll discover this as you hopefully continue to hang around. Rgds, Wordpecker

Migawd Don, 567 posts to wade through??? Hang in there Babe, wish we could do something to help!! Hugs, WRIDR

Not an easy post to comment on. Somebody did an amazing job of turning a beautiful motorcycle into a Joke? That comes to mind off the top. Another thing quickly noted was Windshield Height. Add bugs, dirt 'n grime; you're flying blind. Maybe a Coke Sales Rep with a big bag of Coin might be interested? Thanks for the Post though, definitely worth seeing. Rgds, WRIDR

Based on the five or so years we've been officially hanging around, plus another five or so snooping, you've more than EARNED it, Bud. Greatly Appreciated Rgds, WRIDR

Can we jump in too? Haven't been around nearly as long as you Carl, but: 1) we are Canajun, and 2) we're lots Older!! Hope you have a great Day. We enjoy your posts immensely, Bud. Rgds, WRIDR

Keep Mom laughing, Pucster. Nothin' beats a Stroke-like illness better than Humor. Based on personal experience, when our own Dad had his first Stroke. He let loose with a Ripper that was almost the equivalent of a Lighthouse Foghorn, just as the Nurse was walking past the end of his bed, and Yours Truly without thinking, uttered something like: "Geeze Dad, you blew her cap off!" You had to be there, but... The Nurse laughed, Dad laughed (for the first time), and pretty much everybody else in the Room broke up too. We were kinda embarrassed by the thoughtless outburst, but damned if he didn't noticeably brighten up, and you could see an immediate improvement. That was The Turning Point, so we quickly got over it.~ Warmest regards, WRIDR

Don, you have done an AMAZING job with your Homestead. How you find time for The Upkeep is beyond us! Forgot to look, but do you have Power out there so you could sit and work on The Forum Stuff? It would be awesome if you could sit there to do so, rather than relying on iffy battery power. On the other hand, it might be best to keep the spot for Chillin'. Not sure you even know that word.~ Humbled regards, WRIDR

Having both T-Shirts as a professional Editor, and also a Retailer we see zero harm in saying to the Guy: "Btw it looks like you missed torquing... etc." If he's a good'un, he'll want to know. If it damages the Relationship, that wasn't as good as appeared to be. Either way, it's gotta be done.... for your own peace of mind. His reaction is also important, and definitely a 'need to know'. "Patancy, Nature Of Obstructing Deposits And Bacteriology." Heheheh... sorry Guys, this is the best we could discover, on the second page of Google searching. FWIW: There's also another word, or miss-spell of this one: "Patency", but we give up. Rgds, WRIDR

Hate to even think it, BUT if that Truck Driver blows over legal Limit, The Penalty would be justifiably severe. Rgds, WRIDR

Welcome, Wrecit! If any early problems deciphering what these Varmints are saying are experienced, our services as a Retired Journalist are available upon request - at no charge. You'll pick it up quick enough, so hang in there. Btw: Time Limit for requesting your money back already expired...~ Rgds, WRIDR

Wonderful story, Bud. Thanks for sharing. Rgds, WRIDR

Hands down the BEST SONG The Eagles ever recorded. Nothing even comes close to "Hotel California" in our opinion. Being LONG (9 minutes original) doesn't limit it in any manner; we'd love it to go twenty minutes. Couldn't pick a better Tune to check out a new Audio System. Rgds, WRIDR

Hey, kids....it's time to play "Mystery, leftover part identification"
WRIDR replied to Semi-retired's topic in Watering Hole
Heheheh... we also missed the 'C', and were thinking it might be intended to serve as a helpful accessory on a long ride with limited rest stops...? As in: "Place this 'over ***' until reaching rest stop with washroom facilities?" Tough to figure out proper placement for comfort, however.~ Rgds, WRIDR -
Understand the Frustration, AND admire your Principals, Bud. Good on ya. Rgds, WRIDR

Man, there's only one thing we love more than seeing a New Forum Member sign up. It's a Noob (NO disrespect) with a brand new Bike, and WHAT A BIKE you're bringing! We totally understand you're loving the new 'Wee Beastie', but we suspect you'll develop similar feelings for this Forum. Ride On, and Read On, Brother!~ But... don't forget the Golden Rule... PICTURES! (Or risk The Wrath of The Pucster.) Warm Rgds, WRIDR
