Hi Folks, we're both "New" and "Old". Lurked in the background for many years; signed up earlier this year - GUILT!! Then watched Don battle his way thru the change-over. Congrats on a terrific job Don, and THANKS for not pulling the "Eject" cord. We endured - back in early 80s - converting a small-town weekly newspaper from hot type to digital. We understand, and fully appreciate what you accomplished.
When finally able to add pix, (Wow, appears we just did! Attachment below) we'll add a photo showing how a crossbar was configured above our beloved '09 RSTD's detested 'automobile speedometer', to carry a tachometer, GPS unit, temp gauge, and clock. Later down-sizing from the RSTD to a V-Star 950 (300 lbs. lighter - 72 yrs old now!), that crossbar was easily transferred to the 950 V-Star, which needs it even more than the RSTD - that's one dangerously difficult-to-read speedo/gauges layout, in our opinion.
We've always enjoyed reading the exploits of site members, thank you all for the enormous amount of info available, and look forward to doing so for many years. Btw: more thanks to PUC, for showing us how to edit our info earlier today!~
Signed, WRIDR.
