  1. I have had the "harley lights" for quite sometime and I added LED's to both my tail light and the "harley lights" Very bright when just tail lights but VERY bright as the stop lights.
  2. Buy them! One of the best things I added to my bike You will be glad you bought them I carry a #10 open end handy when the weather is subject to change and not problem
  3. I run on reserve, No need to to have my baby sputtering and gasping for gas.
  4. If I may add to your furstration my riding my bike everyday this week (85 here tomorrow) Rick worked on my pillow top a few months ago, it makes a world of difference. Thanks again Rick. You did a very good job.
  5. I agree, it may not stay cold but if riding in hot weather, and the lord knows it does get hot here in Texas, and (saying a flat tire or something unforseen) it might come in handy. Let me know if you find something that works. I will do the same.
  6. How many miles have you run without seeign the light come on? It most likely will come on around 170 or so. The fuse you are looking for is located on the left side (behind the cover, under the seat) Other fuses are located in front of your right foot inside the cowl. Neather is hard to get to.
  7. What would be interesting to know is how far you can go after the reserve light comes on.
  8. look at the what I did. Could not make many miles without it.
  9. St Magic GEN32-1157 in tailight Also LED's in the "Harley Lights"

  13. I was just informed I will receive the DVD for my birthday so you can remove me from the list. (just that much faster for the next in line) Once I get to watch it, I will post what I learned from it as well.
  14. In addition to the GEN32-1157 for the tail light, I just ordered the LED for my "Harley" lights I spoke to Todd @ Signal Dynamics and provided him with the "Harley" part # 68230-97B As these will only be running & brake, no load signal stabilizer I anticipate these to be much brighter
  15. If anyone is still interested in Saturday, I am up for a few miles. If anyone wants to go, send a reply and we can do a few.
  16. If it is not raining when I am ready to leave, I will be there. If anyone wants to hook up along the way, my cell # 512-699-2131
  17. Bought mine from Signal Dynamics. Looks to be the same as what Gary purchased.
  18. After running the stock windshield for 2+ years, I opted for the ShowChrome short. It is wider and I can see over it with not problem. The price is 100 & well worth the $ I think it looks good as well.
  19. One of the reasons I live in south Texas is riding on Christmas day. Took a little ride in the afternoon. 70 and sunny! Happy Holidays to all of you Jim
  20. Got to put in 100 miles today in 70+ weather. This is just one of the reasons I live in South Texas. Great food & great weather (most of the time!) Happy Holidays to all of you Jim
  21. I have the stock passenger boards I will part with but they are not chrome
  22. May be a riding day here. 70+ for Saturday & Sunday. Early this coming week will get down to the 40s Come on down!
  23. Was wondering if anyone had a good way to attach their iPOD to your bike. It seems I have seen some attached to the handlebars but I have not been able to find anything to hold it on so I could see it. Now I have a pouch on the windshield but I am wanting something to hold it on the bars so I can see it. Any ideas?
