I do enjoy a good round of golf anytime.

If it is down to the wear bars, change them. I am on my 3rd set of Avons and I get 10k + out of the rear. The front looks like they would last longer but I replace both at the same time. I am meticulous about ensuring they are inflated correctly. FYI: I run 41psi in the rear & 38psi in the front.

Riding weather here in the Lone Star State! Come on down and we will just leave the garage doors open. 44 degrees here now with a high of 65. Should be 70+ by tomorrow. No problem with the garage doors here.

Just another case of you have to watch everyone all the time. I am unsure if anyone from the group could have avoided this but most wrecks are due to the cage doing something stupid as in this case.

Glad to hear your Son has returned. Where is he stationed? My Son is in the Air Force, stationed in Bolixi MS and I just told me this morning he will be deployed (again) to Iraq in December. He just had their 1st little girl last month (my 1st Granddaughter). I thought we were pulling out of Iraq but here he goes again for another 6 months. I think he most likely knows more than he is telling me about this but he just accepts the assignments without comments (at least to me) Again, I am happy your Son has returned so spend some quality time with him as both you & he deserve some good days ahead.

I worked for TxDOT (Texas Highway Department for you folks North of Oklahoma) for 27 years and although I never worked on the road per say, I always saw all the good folks that were working on the road thus I thought Roadhand would be a good name. Also I thought it would sound better than Transportation Engineer.

Pretty amazing. As a dog lover I am always amazed at what they can do. Makes you wonder about some people as not too many would even consider assisting in a situation like that.

We Texans know quite a bit about the land of Lincoln. I grew up in Jasper County. Newton High Grad, Yale Grad also but that was Yale Elem. (still counts for a Yale Graduate though) When I was a kid, we used to farm just a mile from Moonshine. We would go there on occasion for lunch and it has not changed except for the stream of people during lunch time. Jim, on the ride back, ride Rt 1 down toward Nashville then you can ease toward Arkansas. I rode all the areas there and they are correct, deer are out from Texas to Illinois and all points between. Have a great ride.

I had a 1200 and the only issues I am aware of with bike is the Stator. (charging system) I purchased mine used and the seller to;d me it had a charging issue. Once I replaced the stator, I loved it. Good bike
