Hmm. I guess I'd have to pick a 1971 honda 750

I second that ^

I doubt I'll ever go to anything like that. I just use a x52 HOTAS for World of warplanes and don't need anything that fancy, but I'm glad I could help!

I'm not sure about the error, you should be able to run 127 devices on a 3.0 host controller, but.. each type of device is classed in it's own group, so perhaps if all your devices are classed as " Interface device, joystick" and the computer has to load a suitable software driver module for each device, you're running into a limitation within windows itself and not the actual hardware. I've also seen people have issues with the INTEL USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller Driver I'd try and uninstall that and see if it clears things up. Also try uninstalling any type of USB boost software that may have come with your motherboard.,

OH, no doubt they are, the 2 gen is pretty heavy compared to a first gen from what I've heard. my 07' is not as bad as I thought it would be is all =)

I had the same thing happen to me when I was on a bicycle when I was 14, car pulled in front of me to pull into a gas station, I hit the back fender and over I went. I was going down a slight hill and doing I'd say 30 mph, landed right on my backpack and only had a scrapped elbow. Bent the front rim, the guy gave me a ride home and 20 bucks to fix the rim, it could have been a lot worse.

all joking aside, I give credit for Harley for looking at the long term, sure we joke about it now and I'm sure the Harley guys are not going to embrace it, but it's a start. We may look back at this in 10-15 years remember this as the first mass market electric bike from a main stream manufacturer. Innovation is more "Cool" than bike brand loyalty

If I want to ride that day, or I have somewhere to go I'll suit up with my rain gear (I keep it in the trunk) and just go, I have a Bell M8 helmet with a flip down clear shield for rainy days in the trunk too. I live in Michigan and if I waited for that perfect sunny warm day, I'd get to ride 5 times a year

Hello all, hope everyone has been safe. Since I live just a few miles from 131 Drag-way in Michigan I took the bike for some runs during the test and tune night (25$ entry in case anyone is interested) I only did 6 runs and my 1st was the best of the night 12.9 @101 13.1 13.2 15.6 (don't ask) 13.0 13.2 I was not able to find much info on the 2nd Gen RSV performance stats and the one site I did find listed the 1/4 mile at 13.66 @93 mph. I bought the bike 2nd hand and it's got 35000 miles on it but as far as I know it's stock. I was running just the lower bagger shield and I weigh 160lb soaking wet, the 13.66 time listed above was for a 99 RSV, did they make any changes to the bike from 99 to 07? I wasn't aware of any but I'm trying to figure out why mine would run that much better (more than a second is pretty decent I think) Also I was fairly impressed, this bike ain't that bad for a 850 pound beast! A night at the drags would make a cool event as well, just saying

I'm surprised there has been no comments on this since it seems to be the #1 issue people have with the bike. Did you take more photos while you where doing this? I'd be interested in seeing them.

I got the baggershield 2 piece, I use just the lower for 1 up and the upper part for 2 up, it's the same height as stock, just wider (with both pieces on)

I think that's one thing that HD does heads and tails above other bike company's, Took my wife to 5 shops in the area to find her a new 1. Helmet 2. Boots 3. all weather jacket. The first 4 places where non Harley shops, 3 had a decent selection of bikes but the woman's accessory's and clothing area was tiny to non existent at all 4. On a lark I went to the HD dealership and was amazed at all the items they had for women. We found her a reasonably priced high quality all weather jacket with full liner for 120.00, a half helmet with drop down internal visor for 110.00 and some decent HD boots on sale for 75.00. (this dealership had at a guess 300 new and used bikes that I could see).

I'll be watching your thread here, when I recently bought my 07 RSV the other bike I had my eye on was a 05 GW. In the short teast drive I had with both bikes the RSV seemed more intuitive after riding a cruiser for 7 years so I went with that. But the GW was very nice too, so I'll be interested in your thoughts on it after you get some miles in since you actually spent some time on ther RSV (unlike most of the Review sites that do the VS comparisons where they ride them for a day). OH and Great looking bike, and as everyone has said a awesome wife!

Baggershield opinions wanted - for a stumpy guy

Yup, with the top part on it's no wind for me and very minimal for my wife. But I just use the lower when it's just me because it just looks so cool! -

I'm 5'9 and I have the 2 piece baggershield, but I have the 10.5/16.5, with the 10.5 at 50-65 I get very little wind but at 70+ I get some wind buffeting, most of hit hitting the top of my helmet and my wife gets blasted (she's 5'7) So if you're 2 inches shorter than me and assuming it's in the torso and not the legs, your 2 inch shorter shield should be about the same.
