For what it's worth no fairing on an 07 RSTD but did install a 2" lower screen so I could see over it. Haven't noticed appreciable wind from below. Doesn't blow my shirt bottom up which other bikes have.
Tend to agree with you. Last season and the start of this one seem to have gotten noticeably darker. The only sort a be good guys left are the retired corrupt sheriff and the semi-retired Latino gangbanger.
Glad it wasn't worse ECK. Doesn't sound like ATGATT would have made much of a difference. Maybe time for some sheep or that goat tethered to a tire. Watch those meds, they can sneak-up on ya.
May be missing the boat but seem to be reading most folks need to change back brake pads before the front. Most bikes are just the opposite. Have I misread, need more coffee, what gives?
Just changed oil & filter a few days ago at 12,400 miles. Oil didn't look bad. Not sure what PO was running but it did have a Yamaha filter. Scoot seems quieter (less gear whine) and shifts easier. Just my $.02.
Yikes!! You do what ya gotta do. Wouldn't intentionally tackle gravel on the RSTD. Can actually be fun riding the pegs on the Strom. Congrats on keeping the rubber side down.
Every day is a brand new day. Up at 7:30 or so. Work-out every other day (well equipped home gym). Ride whenever I choose, usually daily weather permitting. The chores happen at my convenience. Life is gooood!!
