Thanks everyone and Merry Christmas to all!! The battery is around 4yrs old so ready for a new one any way. I will check it out again today, as it has set a good 24hrs or more sense being charged, and will take it to NAPA tomorrow for a load test. It will probably become a back up for the lawn tracter.

I went out to start the beast yesterday, have had it on the battery tender for about 2 weeks, The fuel pump did its thing, the dash reset, everything went just as it should, then when I tried to start it, 2-3 clicks and nothing, dash wouldn`t even come back on. pulled the battery and the + post is Black...anodized?? any way, would the Tender have done this, or is the battery just shot? I put it on the bench and charged it, only took about 5 min. to get to full charge, but I don`t trust it now. was really wanting to know if the Tender could have messed up the battery. K
