Has any one installed a top rail to the saddle bags, I have not seen any, but need somthing to protect them as I am always draging my foot across the top of them when I get off of my bike??

I have not done this yet but plan on it, I have only had my bike for a week, so still checking everything out. I plan on getting a thin foam, much like what is in the bottom of the trunk, and useing 3m spray adhesive to stick it to the inside lid of the trunk. It has allready scratched my wifes helmet up pretty good.. I`ll let all know how this turns out. K

I don`t meen to steal your thunder.... I just bought a `01 RSV that has that chirp sound, beleave its the cluch.... much like StarCruiser, I am wanting to know if that will hurt anything, or is it about to go south on me. The bike only has 3K miles on it.. Thanks

My wife bought us a `01 RSV with only 2700 miles on it, and we picked it up yesterday, This bike is brand new, the only thing I have noticed, is that at the bottom of the Radiator where the fairings connect to each other, it looks like maybe there is a peice missing, or maybe just missing a bolt, any Ideas?? Is this common on these bikes?? Thanks
