I have the same fairing and was having major issues with buffeting from under the fairing. I made 2 brackets and attached the OEM lowers to the OEM location.

There are demo video's on the site. To the nuts and bolts- there is a receiver in line (which I mounted next to my opener) and then a sending unit that sits nicely in the headlight bezel. Flip low to high beam twice and viola, the door goes up or down. It doesn't change anything with you existing openers. Nothing needs reprogramed or anything.
