    I used to climb the light poles on top of the football stadiums when I was younger. Not nearly that high but, it was breath taking and physical. Paid great Quintuple comp time.

    I'm sure that in some parts of the world Dog might be served as the main entre for a large family feast. I bet you could get a lot of sandwiches out of an 80 pounder.

    Why would you want banana cream pie when you could have some pecan pie? I just finished my pecan pie with a big ole scoup of butter pecan ice cream on it. Ifn I twerent so fat rite now Id climb my fat arse offn this here sofa a git me a big ole slice offn that there Boston Cream pie outta that there refrigitater and ida eit that too.

    It's neat but a sixty mile range with a four hour recharge time would be a deal breaker for me. I doubt going cross country for 30 bucks. Imagine how long it would take you to have to stop every sixty miles for a four hour charge. You'd end up spending a fortune in motel bills.

    A company I used to work for a few years back had a Kingair like you describe I got to co-pilot it on numerouse trips all around the country. One year the owner shipped all the bikes down to Daytona for bike week on a tractor trailer truck and we flew the plane down there to meet it. At the time I didn't own a bike so the owner bought a Harley for me to ride just for that trip then sold it when we got back. When we got tired of Daytona we sent the bikes back to Atlanta on the truck then flew the plane down to Key West for another week in the sun. When that was over we flew back to Atlanta and dropped every one off and picked up my crew Then flew to Fairbanks, Alaska for a work project. It was a trip being in Key West, Florida on one day and in Fairbanks, Alaska the next.

    I rode my bike naked once. I probably shouldn't say where or why but I found it very intimadating. Not that I have anything to be ashamed of, but, I kept thinking about skinning up my feet if I had to stop suddenly. Then I started worrying about what i might skin if if I fell off. I quickly stopped the bike and put my clothes and safety leather back on. Did i share too much?

    I'm glad yall are moving on up with the new set up. We should ask Jeff Foxworthy about the word. You might be a redneck if your garage flaps in the breeze.

    I like the set up but I bet my garage is redneckier (is that a word?) than yours. Just ask Blackjack or RandyR. Mine flaps in the wind and has it's own shade tree. Mine only has two bikes currently a partially disassembled 1st gen a 2nd gen and maybe soon a fat ol'e Boss Hoss

    I find that decimal point placement is not near so critical in cooking as they are in micro measurement math. Enjoy the soup.

    Finally, the valve shim replacement operation is now over and successfully completed. Thanks to RandyR who help was invaluable. Randy R YOUDAMAN After three different days attempting and overcoming the obstacles described earlier, we managed to extract the stubborn shim on cylinder 2 outside intake valve and remeasured and verified that all the rest were within spec clearences. Now to move on to other repairs planned.

    My son is really sick of hunting now. Yesterday we killed three more within the first 15 minutes of daylight. He is really sick processing deer meat now. RandyR was over today to help on the bike and got to try some of the deer sausage on a biscuit. He'll just have to tell you what he thinks of it. By the way he put the mustard on the top of the sausage which was on the bottom half of the biscuit.

    My deer season is probably already over. Mostly because I don't think I can coerce my son into helping me drag, gut, clean and process anymore deer meat. This was my fastest season so far. The first hunt last Saturday we killed two deer (Big Doe & Spike buck) within the first 15 minutes of day light. Yesterday we killed three (7 pointer, 4 pointer and another large Doe) within the first 15 minutes of daylight. Total hunt time this season, 30 minutes, five deer in the freezer. Freezer is full. I'm kinda over processing deer meat myself for awhile.

    This past weekend I just put up my first batch of Deer sausage for the season. All of my last year's wild game sausage was pretty much consumed by April. Not to brag but, my home made wild game sausage, jerky and select meat cuts are the best in the land and the perfect accessory for any biscuit. No my techniques and recipes are not family secrets passed down from generation to generation. Nor are they recipes I've seen on tv or borrowed from other sources, at least not totally. They are a result of 40 years of trial and error research in the best methods to harvest, field dress, age, butcher, trim, prepare, season, package, freeze then cook these delicatable critters found roaming around our woodlands. The combination of which is now a family secret which I am painstakingly passing down to my son in every detail beginning with the dragging out of the woods, field dressing and butchering steps. I'm not sure he still views hunting as a recreational activity now that he is old enough to participate in the work portion of the process

    If you can get it back home GeorgeS is near Seattle and is an elecrical guru wizard. He helped me trouble shoot and repair my bike via e-mail, post and phone calls. He is a retired airlines mechanic. I can't speak for him but he might be willing to help out.

    Here again, correct me if I'm wrong and I do defer to the more enlightened. But, I recall the same conditions on my bike at one point in time and corrected the problem totally by changing the clutch fluid an bleeding the fluid line from the master to slave cylinder. Can't air in the fluid lines memick the same symptoms?

    Yes they are the same and actually the left and right vent louvers are interchangeable by turning one of them upside down.

    I'm not exactly sure and I could be wrong but I think it has something to do with creating an air flow ventura in the intake boots causing the gas to be delivered more efficiently to the cylinders somehow. my recolection is that the general census of opinion is that the system had little if any affect and was dead weight and in the way. Yamaha evidently agreed because they did away with it on the MKII 1986 models. Now please if any of you out there more knowledgable on the subject, and I'm inaccurate on this please jump in and correct me. Enquiring minds want to know.

    The first time that sound happened to me I was near Ashville in 30 degree weather dodging an ice storm in the middle of the night. The sound was so loud and to me sounded like some sort of warning buzzer located in the fairing some where. Not knowing what the buzzer was for and what it was trying to tell me and considering my location and circumstances I got real worried, real quick. I whipped out the cell phone and called the only Venturerider expert whose phone number I had stored in my phone directory. I managed to reach GeorgeS in Seattle who was only slightly put out sounding since it was obvious I had awakened him from his beauty sleep. He patiently listened while I went into great detail describing the sound I was hearing and every factor of the circumstances I could think of. When I had finished my disertation he calmly said "disconnect the speedo cable, take two aspirin and call me in the morning" then hung up the phone. That's one of the best things about this group. Timely expert advice when you despertly need it.
