  10. Speaking of questioning the motives of parents: I question the motive of the first Mother that thought it was a good idea to put candles on a birthday cake; light them, let their snotty nosed kid blow them out all over the top of the cake, then cut up the cake into pieces and serve it to all the other kids in the neighborhood. The C.D.C. and germ-a-phobics everywhere are appalled.
  11. Specially when you catch them red handed in the bottom of the trash can.

  14. I've noticed that about you..... There's that A.D.D. kicking in again.
  15. An answer from the Quantum Physics point of view.
  16. A distinct possibility, but, there may be other motives involved.
  17. Good answer, see someone is paying attention:thumbsup2:
  18. Questioning a chicken' motives...... Ya'll try to keep up now.
  19. What do you think you own a Victory Vision. It has been my experience that once the 1st gen bike leans past the 5 degree angle of lean the thing hits the ground and you can count on broken, cracked and scratched upper fairing along the right side edge below the mirror . No matter what kind of ground it falls on. 9 times out of ten it it falls on it's right side the crash bar will damage the water pump tube. and the mirror will be damaged too. Don't do it.
  20. See there you go. That's why I was confused, $1,400 makes more sense to me. It drives me crazy when we as a culture, in our communication styles, abbreviates, uses acronyms or meaningless words to describe something. (i.e. Whatzitsname, dumaflauty, whatchamacallit,...) that we assume everyone else understands what we are talking about. No Puc, I do understand that you have a rare gift and talent for finding the great finds. I am very envious of you for that. As far as the safety and comfort comment. You evidently like to use your 1st gen Mk1 to do cross country. :7_2_104[1]:Here again I envy you for that. You must be a much better rider than me because due to the weight of these bikes I would never dream of using a Touring street bike :7_6_3[1]:as a duo sport bike. :7_2_102[1]:I really don't even like to go on gravel roads even though I sometimes do. I did a few trips on my 1st gen like you do in the beginning and found very quickly when it comes to motorcycle camping I enjoy it more with a few creature comforts. ( i.e. a blow up pillow top queen size mattress, folding camp chairs, the pop-up shade gazebo, a cooler comes in handy, camp stove, cooking utensils, lanterns, enough changes of clothes to stay clean, dry and comfortable for the length of the trip, not to mention appropriate weather gear for the unexpected weather changes that has bitten me in the back side more then once.) With that said a trailer is an absolute must to me. If You enjoy it the way you roll more power to you:thumbsup2:.... Just not me.
  21. The Supreme Court will have a field day on this one.
  22. We're waiting:whistling:
