That's how them Texican folks are. Last Time I was through there, I was met at the boarder of New Mexico by a Venture rider that had offered the day before to bring me a rear tire to Tucumcary, NM.
After being met at the state line and escorted into Amarillo by way of the Cadillac ranch we hooked up with TX2Sturgis who treated me like traveling royalty while I was there. It took several days in Amarillo before I got headed back toward Georgia.
If you run into Brian aka tx2sturgis beware if he ask you to ford a creek on Tweeks. What Texicans call creeks are rivers to the crackers here in Georgia.
