Now it is blue skies just in time for the ride back with the top down. Hurricane, TROPICAL Cyclone, tropical storm,tropical depression, rain storm Bonnie was just enough to keep us off the beach with the umbrella handy.

Well I'm down here in Bluffton SC and so far TROPICAL Cyclone Bonnie is little more than a steady rain. DANG I was expecting some excitement. We did have a nice seafood dinner at a place called Captain Woody's in old town Bluffton which was mighty tasty. I did manage to catch this while on the porch having an after dinner adult libation.Never mind I can't seem to figure out how to upload photographs on this site . The pic was a.double rainbow.

This Memorial Day weekend I planned to go to Hilton Head South Carolina to visit my Mom since I wasn't able to make it down there for Mother's Day. Wouldn't you know it, there is a TROPICAL Cyclone forming up looking like it will heading directly that way. So instead of beach time it looks rain and foul weather. I just hope it doesn't turn into an evacuation run back to Atlanta.

So is there going to be another B2 Mom & Pop M & E at the old homestead this year?

It's not to late to turn one eye to the future. When you do keep in mind there are no bears here to worry about. Maybe a few deer.

There is just about every motel chain you can image within about 10 miles away in any direction. Target McDonough, Stockbridge or Conyers, Ga. All are convenient to interstate access off either I-20 or I-75. But there is plenty of room to park your trailer and cage here.

I did it at sunrise back in 08 beautiful sight but I remember the road through was rough washboard gravel roads and liked to jarred my teeth loose.

As you can imagine an undertaking of this kind requires some advanced planning. To allow for the necessary logistics it would be helpful to get some assurance of a minimal attendance in time to carve the event in stone and move forward. So let's say if ten riders are in and ready to commit by June 10th I'll commit and put it on the calendar. Of course all that are willing are welcome.

I'm thinking July 1st till 6th for Fourth of July weekend.

There would be planned meals but a kitchen pass would not be hard to arrange with the chef.

How big a motor home? I think we could park a motor home but hook ups might be hard to accommodate. Is if self contained?
