It would be the end for me since imma going south to north. You thinking on Sunday 7th which would be at the.end of that thing. I'm thinking about planning all day Monday to get me back where I belong.

You could have just tied it on to the back and pulled it behind you......

Or you could drop a plastic magnet on a string down into the tank until you attract the plastic tube then just pull it out.

Steve, I've been down that path and wish you the best of luck. I've spent my life in the real estate world in some capacity mostly in the management end. I've know many that have done well in sales. Like in any field the results are in proportion to your effort and you'll pay your dues before it starts paying off unless your extremely fortunate, lucky or good.

Yesterday I sat out on the deck waiting for the Fool to crank up his snow machine and throw some down this way to cool things off. Do you think that happened?....... That was a total waste of time.

690 miles between Gadsden, Alabama to somewhere up in Michigan along Hwy 127. Does anyone have any experience? I've heard of it but never done it. Yes I admit it, I've been known to kill time checking out yard, garage and estate sales. Not that I'm interested in bargains on baby clothes it's more about stumbling across some rare treasure or barn find. Thinking about checking it out this year August 4th through 7th. The route is supposed to be scenic roads. Thought I might start in Alabama take a leisurely drive checking it out and see how far North I got. Any thoughts please share.

Sounds dangerous getting sideways between you and your wife. I'd also check out the bike before launching on a long trip.

Being middle of the road politically I say "Put a have-a heart trap baited with peanut butter in the attic, once you have caught him, THEN gently take him out side to a nice open area, load your shotgun , open the trap and give him a two second head start."

In Georgia I've seen then in all color ranges from solid black to solid white and everything in between.

Then there was that time when I had hanging bats in the attic at the gable vent. The County Extention Service suggested throwing moth balls in the attic to drive them out. While that did not drive out the bats it did make my house remind me of my grandmother. After getting sick of the smell of bat droppings and moth balls I ramped up the weaponry to a 410 shotgun. That did do the trick on the bats and the end of the roof gable vent........Oh well... something had to give.

Sounds like what we call down here a Fox squirrel. While not as common as ground squirrel or grey squirrel they do happen and typically are about the size of a house cat. I have one stuffed and running up the wall between the pheasant and deer heads. You might want to look up my thread of about two years ago titled "Pyscho Dad" where I describe a similar situation I had.

The one in South Georgia is still way closer.

Counting Cars tv show did that on a Cadilac rebuild by spraying black candy over chrome the result was a prety cool shiney black candy which looked great with the custom red paint job on the body.
