I expect Harley and other manufacturers will be redirect their product research and development department to target a completely different product model.

What I found out is that there are a multitude of different products by a multitude of different manufacturers all claim to do the same thing. Watching all the YouTube videos they used any thing from JBweld to 3M 5 product kit to regular bondo. I bet Puc's super goop 6000 product would work equally well. So I did exactly what the FOOL suggested and went a visiting to two different auto body supply houses. And I got two different recommendations. The first one seemed unsure but did give me as a demo a USG product labeled for plastic bumper repairs and marked GLAZE. Which seemed more of a topical finish GLAZE then a real estate resurrecting build up filler. But, he gave it to me for free so I figured what the heck. The next guy had a two part epoxy kit made by pro com that he swore was the exact same thing as the 3M kit but 1/2 the price. Good thing cause two 6 oz tubes and one can of adhesive promoter was still 50 bucks. Still a lot cheaper than the Toyota OEM part replacement at about $496, (right side rocker panel cover) My repair blemish is about the size of a tennis ball imprint and I've got a pretty good idea how to proceed. I may even do a start to finish video to show y'all how it turns out.

yes that was exactly what i needed to know.

Great, is there anyway you might be a tad more specific. That is kinda like tracking down whatshername or finding a part number for a whatchamacallit.

That's always fun to say now say it fast five times. No seriously, I do have a question about rubber BUMPERS, kinda....... on cars which in my case is blue and on my buggy which is my baby.......Or more specifically the material they are made out of. I know I said rubber but to me they seem to be some sort of rubber/plastic hybrid. Definitely not the ABS Plastic we are all familiar with. So my question is : can they be repaired and repainted if scratched or minor tears. If so what do you use as a repair product that is sandable for repaint. Anyone with body shop experience with repairing plastic car trim parts please speak up.

can someone please explain this (non-motorcycle)

I'm with Puc on this one, ethanol is not the only carb villain with small gas engines. Moisture and dirt and debris can be others assuming that fresh gas is introduced often enough that the old gas does not break down and leave varnish like deposits in the carb. On the bike if it sits for a long period I will usually top the tank off add gas treatment, close the gas cock off and allow the running bike to run out is gas. For the mower, change the gas filter, fresh gas, check air filter and spark plug and you should be good for the season. -
Anybody attempting such a thing should be buggy whipped for public display of decadence.

Yammer, You just revealed a side of you that I did not imagine....... and did not want to. -
Once upon a time, I bought a converted 44 passenger school bus off eBay. It looked pretty cool and the inside was done nice with components from a camper. I won the bid at about $1,500 as I recall. So the plan was to take a value jet to upper New York state, get picked up at the airport by the seller. Do the deal then I was going to drive it back to Georgia. I had not thought about it but soon realized when I started driving it that being a school bus it was geared real low. Going flat out down a steep hill with a strong tail wind it would not roll faster than 55 mph. Going up the slightest incline the top speed was 35 mph. No matter how hard stomped on the gas and lurched forward for extra manual assist. The next thing I realized was it only got about 4 miles to the gallon. The trip from upper NY to GA cost me more in gas than I paid for the thing. So plan B was to park it on the hunting lease to use as a hunting lodge since plan A to travel long distance touring was at that time economically unfeasible. That worked out great for a few years until we lost the hunting lease. Then I decided to park it in my driveway. On the side of my house until neighbors started to complain and called Code Enforcement. Evidently there is a county ordinance against parking school buses on private residential property. No matter what arguments I made in front of the judge that it was a motor home and not a school bus. In the judges assessment, it had been, was then and would always be a school bus no matter what I choose to call it. So he told me in no uncertain terms that I was to move it or risk jail time and be fined for code violations. A friend who had a property with a few acres volunteered to let me park it in his yard. Which was conveniently located near one of my favorite watering holes. This worked out great for awhile on nights that I had been over served or got lucky I had a handy apartment to crash in with out having to drive anywhere. Until his wife got tired of the dogs barking at my comings and goings in the middle of the night. The only thing I could do then was to send her back from where she came from. The bus, not the wife. So back to eBay she went. I did manage to sell it for more than twice what I paid for it plus a handsome delivery fee to Knoxville Tennessee. Now she is some one else' s problem.

The Green Guzzler sounds more appropriate.

I rode my 87 mkll naked One time. Not in what you would consider public and not for very far. And no I am not gonna explain the why's, what's and wherefore of how this happened. But, I will say it was a mighty intimidating experience. -
A super nice VR is one that will let Big Tom scarf up all of his ice cream without getting upset. Like me.
-
Or gets the bill.
-
I don't know much but, I can tell you by looking at it that it probably will not be able to pass a filling station without having to stop for a drink.
-
If you go, hide your ice cream from Big Tom.

See what y'all started. Someone must have woke up the sleeping giant and now he's checking everybody's credentials. I got caught too and had to 're up my dues. Next the Elks and the F.O.Eagles will be dunning me for their piece of my annual pie. I better pay them up before they cut me off at the bar.

Dang my tag on that Cadillac is right where I left it.

I think a regiment of reprobates sounds better. I'm not sure if reprobates comes in gaggles or not.

It was exactly as you imagined it, good ole down home SOUTHERN cooking. The place was packed and it did take me awhile to get the hostice's attention , who did not seem very hospitable, to acknowledge my presence and take my name for the waiting list. Which at that time was taking about 45 minutes to an hour. But, once she realised I was a party of one she let me belly right up to the counter. It only took the waitress 10 minutes to see through my apparent cloak of invisibility to see me sitting there even though I know she looked straight at me several times before she did acknowledge my presence. The first thing she asked was " Would you like the FRIED GREEN TOMATOES appetizer." I'm thinking, we'll he'll yea dahhhh, why else would I be here. But what I said was, "That would be nice." Next she asked what I would like to drink. I respond sweet tea. IMHO, THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE TEA BEVERAGE. Her response, "I'm sorry we're out of sweat tea and it will be about 45 minutes before I can brew some more." Ok now I'm thinking, how the heck can you of all people working in this place of all places be out of sweet tea????? How is it that you don't have a refrigerated tanker car of iced tea sitting on the railroad tracks out back right next ole Smoky Lonesomes shack? What I said was," lemonade would be fine" The menu was a two page menu describing multiple variations of FRIED GREEN TOMATOES, FRIED chicken and a list of vegetable sides, mostly FRIED. So I selected, FRIED GREEN TOMATOES, FRIED chicken, FRIED Okra, Cole slaw and corn bread. The food showed up lickity split, and was every bit as good as grandma used to make it. That FRIED chicken had a good a char bark as I have ever tasted. Iwas a little Leary when she asked what kind of sauce I would like, because we all know the secret is in the sauce. But, I don't ever recall grandma or anyone else for that matter ever charging me $30 U.S. for a plain chicken dinner. But all in all it was a nice ride, a pretty day, good food, a quaint little town, with pretty biker girls and a great way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon. I've spent a lot more for a lot less of a good time. I'd give it an 8 on my must do list.
