  18. Thanks, Puc. I loved that 250 2 stroke. Detuned Daytona racing engine. When I asked Boston Yamaha to change the gearing so I could ride across country...the lead mechanic laughed and said..."that's a racing motor...she will run flat out all day long". And so I ran 65-70 mph all day long as he got 40mpg... topped out around 88- 90... Got to Arizona and could still wup a buddy's Honda 350 butt until I ran out of steam in 5th gear...keeping the front end up until 4th gear. I was crazy and slightly stoopid in those young years! I wish i could find the pictures I have of my trip. The pic I posted I found on the net...Some Harley guys in Alabama took some pics of me riding with them! Gave my camera back to me at next truck stop break. Fun times....great memories. david
  19. looks like you can see the right side highway mount and board on the lower right of the "Another view" picture I just put up... Hope this helps... david

    89 VR

    From the album: Southern Arizona

  21. Gentlemen, I have a set of highway pegs on the forward bars that may work. I'm only 5'10" (shrunk some) So they are a real stretch for me. I'm still in New England and won't be back in AZ for at least another week....so can't get closeup pics for you, but maybe you can see them in my profile album....on a couple of shots of the VR. No name I could see on them...so..if you can wait... I'm looking for some Kuri's that mount on rear engine guard for me... david
  22. Sorry...forgot to add...in some cases tuvaro also can be initially uninstalled in XP by going to the "programs", "uninstall" area and uninstalling the toolbar which may ahve started your problems. Then use CCleaner to clean the drive and registry. If still an issue, then try Malwarebytes to see if it picks up anything else. I don't know if there is a rootkit installed....if so...that may take specific manual work to delete fully. david
  23. Spybot, Malwarebytes and CCleaner are good safe programs. Avast is also one of the best anti-viri program out there... david
