Thanks. I have read most of the posts and have not found anything concerning connecting directly to the cassette cable. I can only say - I could not get it to work that way. Works fine when you connect to the cable coming out of the cassette for the CD changer. I was just wanting to confirm if this was the case for anyone else and make sure I wasn't missing something.

I am installing the Isimple gateway on my 07 RSV. I thought it might be possible to connect directly to plug that connects to the cassette player rather than the plug that comes out the back of the cassette that connects to the CD player (thereby eliminating the cassette deck. Doesn't appear to work without passing through the cassette connection. Has anyone been had any success by passing the cassette player? I was hoping the eliminate the cassette player altogether.

My Live Oak has a broken branch because of the ice. I guess that is kind of a disaster.
