    I saw you sync a few guy's 2nd Gen. carbs at the Alabama M&E in the DQ parking lot. It did not take you long. Do you have detailed pictured instructions as to how I would go about doing this? I am about to order a CarbTune and would like to be able to jump right in and sync mine as soon as I get it. I'm sure it will come with instructions but you know what men think about instructions; who needs them?

    There is no way on God's green earth you would get me on that path. You would have to shoot me (dead) and drag me across. There are two things in the world that I am affraid of and this is the worst.

    I ordered a Carbtune Kit last week and it came in on Friday. Dareman, Where did you get the Carbtune? Do you have the web site or link? I am very interested in getting one.

    Hey Squidley, looking at the list of bleeder I'm assuming the part number for second gen ('99) Venture would be SB8125 or SB8125L. Is this correct? The "L" must be for long, looking at the picture. Do I need 8125s or 8125Ls? One more stupid question...I'm guessing I will need (4), three for brakes and one for clutch. Correct?

    I run 404's and will change to Avon next. The front looks almost new. The rear is going fast, after 5000-6000 miles. Quick question...can I run a 170/80-15 on the rear? I can pick one up real cheap and run it until I go to Avon.

    Can I get brake pads from Autozone, O'Rielly's, etc. for Venture or do I have to get OEM pads? MamaYama is proud of theirs. I do not want to jeopardize saftey but I would think there has to be something cheaper.

    Thanks Salty for the info. When I say the top part I'm refering to the mast. It can be removed from the base, or at least the one on my '99 can. It does not look like the CB antena can come apart like the radio antena. I really would like to replace them but I kinda lost when it comes to electronics and such. Back to my original question, what could be causing the error when trying the CB?

    Speaking of antenas, what is the best repalcement antena for both CB and radio? I noticed the top part of the radio antena comes off but the CB looks like it is all one piece, wire included. Is this the case? Does the wires come with the replacement?

    Hi all, I have a problem with my CB. I have had my trunk off for awhile and I put it back on yesterday. After install I was checking to make sure everything worked and when I got to the CB I got a "CBer" on my display. When I first pushed the CB button the light on the display would come on and just for a half-second the CB channel would display and then I would get the error. I believe it has always done this but I've never used the CB so I was not concerned about it. Until, on the Alabama M&E I saw how handy it could be so now I'm wanting to get it fixed. Any Ideas?

    "We went out with about 1200 other riders on a ride 02-23-08 called the BORDELLO RUN." This (1200) is not a typo is it? I can't imagine a group that big on an organized ride, other than the "Trail of Tears".

    Hey Mark, I checked mine when I got home and I could not tell if they were pulsing. I felt of them and they would not push in. They may be like MrStankie said, metal covered with rubber. Before I order new ones I'll take one off and see for sure.

    I got a notice from Progressive this month about a price reduction. Went from $200 to $169. I check others and Progressive is still the best value.
