  1. Sorry for the late reply yes there's spring's just no air. Haven't got much done on this been working on the drag bike. I've got a sand blast setup that will let me blast the tank so should get that done and cleaned and back in this weekend . I did get the fuel pump cleaned working, air comp. working and all the light's. Got a ? does the bike have to be running for the air ride stuff to work buddy's goldwing work's like that.
  2. Andrew I have an '84 model but I think I found it. Started diggin the tank out so I can clean it out and damn there's a lot of chit need's took off just to get to it. http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/001_zpsd3f0c4d5.jpg   Let's see junk the front fairing, some flat bar's move the peg's back Never mind wrong bike. http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/003_zpsb3eff9cd.jpg got the tank out but man that left a BIG hole. http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/006_zps69701d63.jpg http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/005_zpsf63cf29b.jpg
  3. Got a beer after work today and took a better look at it and will be no big deal to pull the rear off. Thinking while the bike's apart be a good time to do the tire and go through the susp. so what's a good tire on these thing's?
  4. Thank's guy's that's what I needed to know. Looked to me you unplug the back half and the four bolt's and it should all come off but then I didn't look that close.
  5. So this 84 I pick up need's the tank pulled to cleaned. Look's to me the rear sub frame has to come off if I'am right ?? ?can the rear come off in one peice ?
  6. Fuse box is no big deal I'll wire in a blade type. Lookin in the gas cap lot's of rust so look's like the rear sub frame has to come off to get it out right ?? Here's my other bike an '80 model KZ650F1 with an '83 GPz780 motor. Go's 7.60@90.00 mph 1/8th mile with a 1.70 60 foot time and can still ride it to work all week if I want. http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/804_zps34b84fdb.jpg
  7. Didn't see a project topic so I'll post it here. Picked up a 1984 Yamaha Venture royal last night so I can keep the G/F off the KZ. Buddy Eric got it last month from the orig. owner and let me have it for the $1000 buck's he gave for it. Last taged in 1989 and been store'd inside since so it'll need a little work to run. The to do list. Clean gas tank. Go through the carb's. New tire's' Service all fluid's Little wiring work at the fuse box. On to some pic's. http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/003_zps9a5f3b02.jpg http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/005_zps1d5ffdc1.jpg http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/004_zps2720f4ec.jpg http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/006_zps75a3e834.jpg Started stirppin it to see what's needed to ride. http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/007_zps9ead4fb6.jpg http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/008_zps214da81c.jpg http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/009_zpsa2c91a84.jpg http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/010_zps74691e15.jpg Gotta fix this mess. http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/011_zps1f754e56.jpg Even has a CD player. http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/zukiworks/Motorcycle%20stuff/013_zps828b695c.jpg
