I have been reading these forums so much lately I shouldn't admit it, but at least the wife is on her yearly Cancun vacation with her mother, so I have nobody to answer to. Who needs Cancun when you have a motorcycle? One thing I have not seen is a windshield like the one on this bike. It has 2 circular openings for ventilation. Anyone know what it is? Also, the previous owner was from, I think Iowa, and he installed a button on the tank tie next to the filler that nobody at the dealer knows what it operates. I'm gonna wait until late late late fall to take a look for the endpoint of the wires.

I have been following this forum since I found the bike I wanted to buy. You all have so much knowledge and insight into this particular bike that I instantly felt at home. I came here to find out real world info about the Venture and... yeah buddy... I found it here. I brought my new baby home today and here she is. I look forward to stumbling my way through several mod threads and begging for advice.
