  1. I can get Everclear for $18.99 per 750 in Illinois.
  2. If 6 of those don't fit, I'll take em off your hands. No questions
  3. To be fair, she was an insurance specialist for 18 years before going into bonds.
  4. Me, personally, I bought the J&S jack AND Larry's adapater. Sure, the J&S works fine, but it marks the surface of the jack supports. With the Carbon One adapter, it's a beautiful marriage. I suppose it does not matter the lifting device, but I feel the adapter is the key. With Larry's adapter you can do no wrong, and it helps out a member. Bob
  5. My wife is a Surety Specialist / "Bond" Girl for an insurance company here in Illinois. When I got the Suzuki C50, they put me with Progressive. When I upgraded to the RSV, they kept me with Progressive. I trust my insurance to her, and will never think twice. What she recommends is the best for me as a person and as her husband. It may come down to how favorable your state is in the "interest of the company", but, my lifeline is inches away most times. No, We do not have our house and cars insured through Progressive, but I trust her judgement in all things insurance related. Just my $0.02
  6. I presume they need a tightening, yes?
  7. Thanks :}
  8. The PO of my bike put a button on the ignition cowling. Nobody at the dealership bothered to ask him it's purpose. I took off the right lower fairing a few weeks ago and came across a zip-lock baggie with a couple circuit boards taped to the fairing. Well, today I thought I would try to figure out what was up. ... came up with nothing and thought maybe an electronics guru or 3 could offer suggestions. There are 4 wires coming from these two boards. The two blue ones go to the button on the ignition cowl and the red and green are hanging loose under the seat ( for connection to battery power ) I don't know how to attach bigger pictures, but I have typed in every string of numbers to google and have come up with nothing. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. Bob

  20. This plan.... gimme!!!!
  21. Just got my Venture last Tuesday. Today was my first chance for a ride (stupid work) Buddy and I went about 150 miles to Clinton, Wisconsin and back. He's the one with the Valkyrie. I am so impressed with this bike. It just keeps wanting more road. It's so precise and mannered, so smooth and controlled. I never thought it could be like this.
  22. good thing I only tried it in ACC mode lol
  23. Thanks Puc, I fell in love as soon as I saw that bike. The feeling only got better the more I spent with it.
  24. Squidley, I think the guy was from Iowa, but I will ask the dealer tomorrow if they will tell me. Couple things that might make it memorable is that there is a small black button right side of the fuel filler and I found a 38 special casing in the right saddlebag hehe
