Try cleaning off the bolt heads and putting a dab of clear silicone over the heads then let it dry overnight.

I think I see something sticking out of the one on the right… it looks like feet! Is it possible that one of them is giving birth? Or was it hungry and swallowed something head first?? I hope they’re not multiplying!!

Once it gets to a certain point there’s no stopping it! (don’t ask me how I know )

I think the greatest thing to see would be each other. I’ve read a lot of posts, heard a lot of opinions, seen a lot of scoots, been a lot of places, read a lot of stories and sent a lot of prayers. This is an opportunity for us to meet the person behind the screen. Breakfast together sounds great, nothing like fueling up for a day of riding with friends. As different as we may be, we all share at least one thing in common. Hey Red and all the rest of you, pickup the gauntlets and ride, I’d love to meet and ride with you. This planet of ours is a wonderful place and there’s nothing better then sharing it with a friend! PS Say what you want about the igloo’s… at least our beer is nice and cold!!

Ontario Improving Accessible Parking For Motorcyclists
dragerman replied to dragerman's topic in Watering Hole
I don’t agree with you because there are many types of ‘disabilities’. If I were missing one lung that would seriously affect my ability to walk any distance but I may still be able to ride. As in my case many disabilities are not always visible, luckily I don’t need to use the accessible parking spaces yet. I see this as a step in the right direction and hope I never have to use it. We have VR members who ride with disabilities, ask them what it's like. PS Great looking scoot. -
Some good news for disabled riders in Ontario. http://ogov.newswire.ca/ontario/GPOE/2008/05/22/c3016.html?lmatch=&lang=_e.html

Quick question on radio connections
dragerman replied to WIKD's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Dielectric grease is the only way to go but I would suggest you first spray the connections with “contact cleaner”. You can usually buy it at an electronic store. After you spray the connectors blow them out with compressed air then put the grease. I’m not sure if the contact cleaner will damage the finish on painted surfaces so take care for that.- 10 replies

... for what it's worth my bike came from the US (NJ), there is a mfg lable inside the seat trunk that recommends 91 octane.
-
I agree with Rip. High octane fuel is usually recommended for high compression engines. The 2nd generation venture has a 10:1 compression ratio which is considered high. My understanding is that octane is used to prevent “dieseling” or “run-on” and like Rip said does nothing to boost performance (it’s been a long time since I’ve heard an engine run-on). My scoot seems to run fine on regular fuel. One thing I won’t do is tank up when the ‘station’ is being refueled and I tend to look for stations that have a regular turnover of fuel.

My compliments and congratulations!

If you subscribe don’t forget to ask for a discount code. Before you call to subscribe Google XM discount code and see what you come up with, I received $120 off a one year subscription (be persistent when talking to the rep). This is the cheapest I’ve seen the XM antenna http://buyeretail.com/product.asp?i=GARGXM30 Another good site for info is http://www.zumoforums.com/ It’s a pricy unit but it does what I want and I enjoy it. Gota have those tunes!

That’s a good letter but it seems that his motorcycle comparison is to that of a sport bike. The same rules apply to a cruiser style MC but to less of an extreme. I can’t imagine anyone acting in an official capacity endorsing a PCT on a MC, too much liability. However I still think they can make a better MC tire then they do. PS. Thanks for posting the letter, it will be interesting to see who else replies.

does your RSV's radiator fan ever come on?
dragerman replied to dharnie's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I had posted the same question last summer and as suggested here I let the bike idle in warm weather... sure enough it came on.
