I have 16" apes on my Suzuki VL. I like the look and find them ok to ride with. not good in a head wind though. arms get sore after a few miles trying to hold yourself up. No laws here in UK about max bar height.

Well I split the fairing and checked the connections. And I still have no volume control. Looks like I need a new control unit.

I don't have an issue with it playing tapes or radio. It does both, it's just I can't turn the volume up or down. I thought it was maybe because its on auto volume but can't see a way of turning it to manual

Yes same control unit as yours

We don't have cb's fitted to the UK models but will try cleaning connections. Thanks

Just got my 2nd gen Venture delivered today. Everything ok but volume control on audio system doesn't adjust volume. Not getting any volume level display either. Blasts out music ok but want to be able to turn it down. I'm sure it's something I'm doing or not doing but even with the manual I'm stumped
