At 14:15 you'll see a motorcycle stranded in the middle of the road. I slowed down and ask "Are You OK?" (You can't hear me because I had my mic close to my scooter's exhaust, so all the camera's catching was the exhaust sound). The guy said "Yes! Yes! Yes!" enthusiastically, giving me a thumb up. I didn't want to push it since it was in the middle of nowhere and I didn't carry a weapon, so I left him. At 14:30 you'll see his jackass riding buddy waiting for him doing absolutely nothing.

Very interesting notion about faith, Godlover. My wife and I are also on different denominations. Like y'all, we understand that the difference on denominations doesn't affect the fact that we worship the same God. Although, once in a while we joke about who between us is the closest to God

The previous owner of my '96 Royal Star warned me about this. He said he was stranded on the side of the road once because he thought he had a little more gas on the tank, but turned out he didn't. He relied on trip meter since, and that's what I always do. Forget the low fuel indicator.

I met another VR member myself today, Bob Myers from Richmond KY, owned a shop near my office in downtown Lexington. I had something done by him. Very nice guy, and very beautiful Venture he had. Definitely would come back to see him

Thanks KIC, that is very nice! I always wave if I'm waved at. Like KIC said, it doesn't take an advanced skill to take your hand off your handlebar for 1 second and make a simple gesture. I always wave to other cruisers. I even wave at cruisers behind me. Most of the time they wave back at me. I don't wave to crotch rockets. If they wave at me, I wave back. I don't wave to cars, simply because they are too many of them. But if they wave at me, I wave back (yes, it happened).

I waved to cruisers (including HD's) and most of the time he/she waived back at me. I waved to crotch rocketeers and most of the time he/she didn't wave back at me. So I wave at cruisers but let the crotch rocketeers wave at me first. How about mopeds / scooters? Did you wave at scooters? I didn't, but when I'm on my scooter it feels great to get waved by cruisers (yeah, crotch rocketeers don't wave to anything else but another crotch rocketeer)

I've done a portion of Red River Gorge that's called "Hillbilly Triangle" It's located at the base of Appalachian Mountain, so there are a lot of twists and turns inside a forest. My riding buddy said it was as hard as The Gap (I haven't been to the gap, so I have no comparison) Unfortunately, the road condition was bad sometimes.
