Dan. it might be a lot less trouble , to do a clean re-install, but bear i mind, you are only allowed % usages of your install cd, then you must purchase a new key gen numbers set, or a whole new xp cd. i would also take the earlier advice, and do a c d backup. just jt

FAILED!!!!! half way through the first I.V, of round two, Jeannie "bottomed out"!! could not breathe on her own. blood pressure went into the cellar.hemoglobin count fell to 7.normal is 14. back to I.C.U., for 24 hours, on life support. might get to go to a private room on the "cancer floor", tomorrow. this routine, is wearing mighty thin.i don't know how much longer i will allow this crap, to continue.it ain't fair to anyone. i have to make a big lift , tomorrow, so i won't know anything, until after 5:00 p.m.! just jt

yammer dan, and you're "OLD CANTANKEROUS ASS", are rock solid! i didn't know, complete strangers, could be so caring! thank you both. may be, that the Almighty, will allow me to return the kindness, someday. just jt

tomorrow, Jeannie has to go in , for her second round of "chemo". well first they have to give her a "pre-chemo", I.V., should take about 5 hours. then Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday, she gets the real thing. my guess, is that she will be re-admitted, because her "heart rate/pulse", hasn't been below 110 beats per minute, in two days. topped out at 140, yesterday. nitro glycerin tablets, have NO effect, anymore. last week, her home health nurse found another "enlarged lymph node", in her left breast area Friday the cancer Dr. ordered a biopsy, so that he would know what he was up against. bottom line is , she has a breast cancer, but she hasn't got any breasts!!!! just empty bags. the breasts were removed 14 years ago, along with "SAFE "saline implants, that had both ruptured. her hair is beginning to fall out, and she is very self conscious about that.i am not sure, where we will go from here, so i asked the Almighty, to take over, and do what He does best. just jt

and here all this time, i thought BOB was doing what the Dr.s told him !!! i guess he isn't worried about that foot getting healed up! just jt:puzzled: on second thought, you didn't say that bob helped you do any of the work. so i might be all wet , with my assumptions! lol just jt -
i have done a LOT of plastics repair with abs filings and acetone! the trick here, is to coat both mating surfaces, with a coating of straight acetone. that softens up the plastic, just enough to make a tight fit. then, you apply several light coats of "home made abs glue" after the repair cures, you can cut a groove on the back side, and use a "plastic welding kit". for absolute good results. just jt

earlier, i read a post about the 5-4 supreme court ruling on the second amendment. now , after an hour of reading 200+ years of "pro and con" high court rulings and interpretations, i can't find the post, so i can't reply. it must have gone SOUTH, really fast! at any rate, it is sad indeed, that we have FOUR supreme court justices, who cannot read "plain English"!!!! just jt

MTMAN. my '86 sat for about 3 or 4 years. rear brake problem turned out to be the ENTIRE system. the brake fluid, had crystallized in the reservoir, lines and BOTH front and rear cylinders. take the whole linked brake system apart, one part at a time. clean everything up, spotless, then go to the next part. DO NOT try to bleed the brakes , during this process, as you will likely "redeposit" trash in the parts you just cleaned. after you are sure everything is clean, refill your reservoir with NEW fluid, and begin the bleeding process. i always start with the left front brake , first. then the rear master cylinder, then bleed the air out of the "tree area bleeder". hope this helps. just jt

i work with a guy, who just bought a mid/late 90'svirago-1100. he says that at hiway speed, it sounds as if the valves are clattering, but not noticeable at any other speed. bike has 5600, miles on it. i wouldn't think the valve train, would make a racket, with these few miles on it. anyone able to help me out on this one? just jt
