    Cindy. i for one will never tire of hearing you "vent", or just talk about your issues. lord knows, ya'll have all listened to my woes, for a LONG time , now, and not one of you has told me to "shut up, and let it drop". i'm like old what's his name!     i was driving a cage with my father in law in the passenger seat, one time. i got a little "lead footed", and he said something i will NEVER forget! HE looked over at me, and said "i'd rather be three hours late, than dead for ONE MINUTE!" the old man, had a lot of zingers , like that one! just jt:backinmyday::backinmyday:

    GENE! i envy you! i would give anything, to be able to visit with the guys that "HAVE BEEN TO THE WALL, AND BACK" i don't mean the memorial wall , either! i had a friend, many years ago, who was "Austrian", she survived 4 years in a concentration camp, only because she was young and strong, and was able to "help dispose of the babies and dead Jews"! my lord, the tales this old woman could tell, and the tears that i cried, just listening! you made us all proud of ya brother! just jt

    everything that you have been told, is correct , in my opinion. a spool gun /wire welder, is the way to go! if you can squirt silicone, you can weld with one of these 220 units! just jt

    i recently pulled my carb diaphragms out. i noticed that the "bottom section", of the tubes, were pretty scratched up. the FIX, is to take the "tube" in one hand, press the diaphragm end into your other palm, twist the tube. this re-orients the "tab" in relation to the scratched tube! i do not believe the rubber coated part is actually "glued " to the insert and washer. i believe it is merely a close press fit. some one correct me, if i'm wrong, here. just jt:banana:

    Brad. almost the ENTIRE city of Houston, is SNAFUED". fema can't get their act together. centerpoint energy, is working around the clock, to restore power,to the fire depts,police depts, hospitals, etc. GASOLINE, is the main roadblock. most of the stations, have no power, and the ones who are open, are NOT publicising their locations. i have a son, there who has been in the dark, with no water, or groceries for three days. if he can't find a gas station this morning, i'll have to go to houston and rescue him, from his own house! lol just jt:doh:

    Buddy rich, the day after ike MISSED us, we broke a record high, for the day, at 100* two days later, and we are expecting to break the record for a LOW temp tonight! go figure! and people wonder why they stay sick with "summer colds and sinus problems". just jt:icon_smile_question
