Has anyone ever seen one of these and if so who makes it and any other info I can get on it. My venture has this on it when I bought it but have never seen another one like it. Any help would be appreciated.

Did it one time when I and a buddy was coming back from a trip to L.A. area. The traffic was stopped, for almost 15 miles ahead, and we where both on yamaha raiders. Now I have a venture that is water cooled, but you have to remember the raider is air cooled and the temp was 105 degrees. You can't just sit there on a air cooled bike, I have seen many a Harley burn up in those conditions. so we both looked at each other didn't really want to do it but started out at 20 to 25 mpg, and most drivers saw us coming and would move over. Wouldn't ever do it again real scarey!!

I say if it is comfortable for you, do it. Nothing worse than to ride if your arms and back hurts by hunching over. I have 10"mini apes on my raider and love them.

Thanks for the reply's, but not sure I explained right, when I turn on hazard switch they do not come on, with switch still on the turn signals will not work, nor does the driving lights. You would think that the hazard switch would have nothing to do with the added driving lights, unless wiring is messed up, no blown fuses by the way. Then when I turn off hazard switch the turn signals and driving lights work fine.

Would anyone out there have a clue as to why when I put on the hazards they won't work but beyond that it makes my turn signals and driving lights not work. This is a third generation owned bike and the original owner is the one who installed driving lights. could he have wired it wrong or do you think something else is going on? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

HI y'all, I have been looking for the right Venture for about a year. I have even gone as far as 400 miles just to look at one. I found this 2006 black cherry with 37k in Las Vegas. I called and talked to him and he sent me a lot of pics and fell in love with it. I talked him down to $6000. So I flew down on a thursday from Idaho. He picked me up, drove to his house drove bike and made the deal. Then I proceeded to drive 650 miles home. After cleaning it up and adding a few things I just love the looks and ride. Will be poking in here now and again to get info and advice, great forum you have. Oh by the way here is my other ride, 08 Raider. Also a Yamaha Star.
