  7. aside from the holes in the roung place im happy with it they did ofer to replace it but its $70 postage both ways so I just re drilled the holes and its fine ame going to contact slipstream and see what they say
  8. got my 83 on 07-18-2013 and fell head over heals for her traveled a 1000 miles to get her on a permit she did herself proud on the trip home did i Menchen i was in love lol magnificent motorcycle :bighug:

  11. well i bort this screen on ebay 80 dollars plus 75 for shipping when it ariavd set about fitting it very frustrating holes in the roung place and to much materiel on the bottem had to move the 2 outside holes 10mm in and take 5 mm off the bottom just to get it to fit so was not very impressed with that although it has very good clarity will keep you posted about scratch resistance the fitting ishuw kills it for me not good enough slipstream how about sum quality control :no-no-no:
  12. have never had a globe fail me in 40 years and several hundred bikes may be im lucky Never Sean the pint in hi powered light our spotlights hi beam always bean good for me. but that's just me don't have a problem with the new stuff but the old ones are plenty reliable if you by the motorcycle specific bulbs they have heaver filaments and like i sead in 40 years i have never had one fall but have mates that have had the new stuff die on them and besides that quite often it interferes with the radio as my mate with the 85 gold wing fond out lol hes still crying decors he carnt get the buzz out when his hi beam is on

  14. so vmax tci with vmax carbys i have all the vmax internals from a low mileage bike pistons rods heads cams inlet ect am debating wether to go with it at this stage. Will venture headers fit up without mods and do pod filters work ? allways appreciate advice from the experienced

  18. is there any benefit to fitting 1300 crabs on a 1200 our will it just run to rich ? so if anyone has dun this what were the prows and cons ? . Am thinking about rebuilding crabs debating weather to get the 1300 crabs to put on my 83. Any advice appreciated
