  1. Ya that. Using a ball head is the best solution to get it out.
  2. Well, I ordered them today, should get them in 5 to 7 day's. Nice winter project to install them.....yes bike is now stored for the season , but accessible to do the work. Thanks for the input folks:big-grin-emoticon:.
  3. Looking at replacing current grips and end weights with Kuryakin ISO grips with throttle boss and end weights. Are these thicker than the stock ones? Price including shipping and local taxes for all would be about $185 from Cruisercustomizing.
  4. Same question, why turn them off?
  5. Wow, wish I had your talent...going to be a great looking bike.
  6. Thanks for the advice, tried that but it releases all at once even with the slightest pressure, not even an inch. Will need to make sure I keep it balanced on tires when lowering so it does not fall on sidestand too fast. Thanks again,
  7. Duhhh, if the instructions mentionned something about it I WOULD NOT BE ASKING. Thanks for your very insightfull and helpfull suggestion though...geeessss
  8. Lifts are on sale for $60 this week at CND Tire. Just bought the 1500lbs model similar to the Sears one. Most folks indicate that this lift will slowly lower but when I used it today I could not get it to lower slowly, it just drops. Is there any way to adjust to slow it down?
  9. Ok thanks Only happpens when accessing through my Android tablet. Has not been happening lately.
  10. Nice looking bike.......would those hand grips be Kuriakin along with the weighed bar ends?
  11. Oh crap:snow2:, hope all will forgive me...promise not to do it again....
  12. Was out for what should the last ride of the season. Was a great day. Logged 200 miles around mighty Saint-John river and Grand Lake. Few bugs and no idiot moves from cagers. Great way to end season. Will be winterizing tomorrow and testing snow blower.
  13. Ya.....today is probably going to be last ride for season.....
  14. Yes need different flasher or a load equalizer. For the rear remember that LEDs are pole specific, so you may have inversed the hot and ground wires if it does not work at all. Hope this helps.
  15. BRAVE MAN:rotf:
  16. On accessing the site i now get a pop up indicating that there is a problem with the certificate and asking if i want to continue????
  17. Had a great 2 hour ride around the Mactaquac headpond today. Great end to a beautiful thanksgiving weekend. Hope all had a similar weekend.
  18. Excited about all of the above, but not the Victory Vision look, should keep the cruiser look.
  19. Thanks.
  20. Also who is the supplier.
  21. I would stay away from anything that ships from China. Looked at their website and did not get a good feeling about them. Even their translation into english is off.
  22. Thanks for the advice Freebird, will take a look tonight to make sure.
  23. Well they finally arrived yesterday, was a two week process, one week for them to ship out and another week for shipping. No hangups at customs or any brokerage fees so that was good. They came shipped in bubble wrap mailing envelope and then each one was individually wrapped. The quality seems to be excellent. They have completelly replicated the pattern as well as the curve of the originals. Only gripe would be that the screw holes are a bit off, but it is hardly noticable. Would certainly recommend them. Cost was $60 for 2 sets and $31 for shipping. Install tooks about 20 min and as I did not have locktight I used GOOP instead so nut would not come loose. Nice to be able to remove the scratched ones.
  24. :rotf::rotf::rotf::rotf:
  25. Wow....not sure what started the whole thing but these bikers are a bunch of morrons as far as i am concerned. Hope nobody was hurt when the SUV climbed overa bunch of bikes at the start and hope the occupants of the vehicle are ok too. Idiot moves all around.
