  1. Nope ......no holiday here:crying:, but thanks for the wishes:canada:
  2. Will post something as soon as I can install it. Garage is still a bit too cold to work in but should warm up soon.
  3. Those are the same bulbs I bought from Cnd Cruiser Customizing and provided the link to them in my previous post above. Cheaper there too but have not installed it yet. You can buy individual or a set. Got a set so I have a spare for future.
  4. I have bought a set of HJC helmets for the cost of the Nolan one. Plenty of space for adding the headsets. As they are flip-ups, I used headsets designed for open face with boom microphones. Also best fit I found as I wear glasses. See link below: http://hjchelmets.com/hjca/ismaxbt_ismaxbtsolid
  5. Hey get what you are saying.....hope you are able to get back at it soon. Just needed to vent earlier.
  6. Youre right, did spend an hour around bikes.......and spring is on the way:cool10: Would love to make those events you mentionned, looking for Wow.
  7. Travelled for 3hrs and spent 60 bucks in gaz plus 12 bucks aceess fee to go to the Moncton bike show today and boy what a disapointment. All the bike manufacturers where there and that was good but the rest was a bunch of vendors selling old dusty stuf that they must have had left in the basement. No accessories worth to mention. Was looking for gloves and all that was there was crap. Only positive is being able to pick up a copy of 'Why we ride' for 30 bucks:shock3: I usually do not post negative, but I should have stayed home and saved the 100 bucks this cost me.
  8. Good point, I had not looked at the tech aspects.
  9. If the TD takes an H4 bulb it should be a direct replacement. Here is another option that I will be trying soon. http://canadiancruisercustomizing.com/products/afterburner-led-headlight-direct-replacment-lamps
  10. Feeling for ya .... as it is a bad year. We are better equiped to deal with cold and snow up here but it has been a long ()(*&&?(*)*)?)) winter here too....
  11. Not sure if you are still looking....Here is another one that was posted on Ebay today: http://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-ROYAL-STAR-VENTURE-XVZ13TFM-XVZ-1300-SEAT-DRIVER-AND-PASSENGER-SADDLE-/281264482013?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item417cab66dd&vxp=mtr#ht_509wt_867
  12. A two tone blue 83 and my current 06 Black Cherry beauty
  13. Got em too....seems like an easy fix.
  14. Tragic but this one is also infuriating...2 lives lost because 1 person drove distracted:mad:
  15. http://www.laurelyamaha.com/PrintInventory-Yamaha-Touring-Royal-Star-Venture-Laurel-Mississippi-id-307395 Gary N.;817931]Tank badges were changed in '06. Some feel that the tank badges on the '06 are too big and ugly and remove them. I like 'em. The 2006 badge was the most detailed of them all and the nicest. Follow the link I provided above they have a close up of it. The bike shown is actually a trike conversion, but the tank is the same.
  16. TOO COOOLLL......
  17. Go for it, you wont regret it. And welcome...
  18. Thats just flurries were I come from:snow2:
  19. Wow great job on those. Now I get the projector light part. Great thinking and engineering skills.
  20. What did you use for your passing lights? Are those the new Truck-Lite (single led) units.? If yes, any issues fitting them in the stock buckets? Thanks:confused24:
  21. Have not installed them yet as it is still too cold where I store the bike. Got them here on ebay as they had the best price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/121183155603?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649#ht_1827wt_952
  22. Lower power draw and no mechanicals for hi\low beam on the headlamp. Plus its newer teck.
  23. Wonder if that would fit in the space left from removing the cassette deck on a RSV?
