  1. Welcome back, nice to hear from someone from close to where I am. How do snap 2 kickstands in one season??
  2. Most folks seem to go for the halogen for the higher light output. I had the stock sealed beams on mine and just converted them to Truck-Lite 4.5 LED units. Less power draw. Here is a link to a thread I posted on them. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=84450 The sealed beams are cheaper to replace though. I am sure others will pipe in also.
  3. :sign yeah that::sign yeah that::snow2::rotfl:
  4. Why are people doing this swap? See references to it all the time....what is the advantage?
  5. Yup, blizzard warnings are up for tonight and tomorrow morning here. Glad to see you are back on the road though:clap2:
  6. I bought my RSV last summer and had the same issue at first. You will find that as you get used to the bike and its torke range you will be able to better judge what gear you should be in. I try to stay in a gear that still provides me room to use available torke if needed to keep myself out of trouble. 5th gear is only used on the superslabs. I know what you are saying though on having to remember what gear you are in as that is a pain.
  7. Custom World International is the brand. Here is a link to Cruiser Customizing. You will need to drill one hole in the floorboards but that is easy. http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/classic-heel-rest/part/CWI-05-176
  8. I have been gradually adding some bling and functionality this winter. Here is what has been added so far on the chrome side of things. 1. ISO Grips with new bar end weights and throttle assist. 2. Harley rear light bar - Won an auction on Ebay for $67 3. Heel Rests - I do not like pegs, so this seemed like a good compromise. 4. ISO Brake cover and Shift Pegs. Was 4 degrees above freezing outside today, spring is one the way.
  9. I guess that is why I cannot go to DQ anymore.............too cool:rotf::rotf:
  10. I must be bad too since I have been avoiding DQ,s..............trying to loose weight:scorched:
  11. Now that is a nice combination, either one looks good:clap2:

  14. Im hoping for an 8track. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

  21. For some reason I get no picture when I open this thread, but Baron's makes a cover that is intended for that space. The problem with it is that it covers the choke so it really cant be used unless you modify it. . Whatever you do, remember to account for the choke. Here is a link to the baron one: http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/Barons_Mini_Teardrop_Covers_SMOOTH_Royal_Star_p/ba-7607-00.htm
  22. Here you go... http://www.motorcycleinnovations.ca/BikeVis_Bullets_White_p/whitebullets.htm
  23. Here is what I did using Bikevis bullet lights attached to the front forks. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=80246

    Why?

    WHY is everybody just watching and not posting. WHY does this look like the last moments of an ebay auction with all trying to be number 1000?
