  1. RCMP currently trying to locate shooter who killed 3 of their members (RIP) and wounded 2 others last night. Moncton will never be the same. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/moncton-shooting-suspect-spotted-3-times-as-manhunt-continues-1.2665707 http://www.cnn.com/2014/06/05/world/canada-shooting/index.html?hpt=hp_t2 Any of our members in Moncton , please stay safe.
  2. Just put CII's in front and rear and so far I am very happy with them. Not experiencing any of the skittish cornering that is mentionned above as bike feels well planted. Only have 1000 miles on them though...will see as they wear down. One major area of improvement is the elimination of snaking when going through ruts. The olds Metzler-F/404-R combination would actually catch grooves and snake like crazy, not the MCII's. Even lined some ruts on purpose this weekend to see if I could force it to snake and nothing, very stable ride.
  3. Had 404 in rear and Metzler in front and replaced them with Commander II's. Best move I ever did, handling is great. Only have 800miles on them so far but they still look like they have not even been scuffed. Not available in WWW though, but prefered to go with handling and longevity. :canada:i
  4. Wow AWSOME:clap2: Thanks for sharing

  6. Marcal, meant no disrespect to Spider riders:bowdown:
  7. Well I was having a great ride tonight and this idiot on a CanAm Spider blows through a stop sign in front of me. All I could do was move over two lanes and I was lucky nothing was coming the other way. Then it gets better because now he is behind me and he start tailgating me with his horn on. Well I pulled over and he passed. I followed a bit back as I was still shaken up. He turns into Tim Hortons and I decided to have a talk. When I got to him he and his passenger reaked of alcohol. I decided to not confront him but called the cops and reported him for drunk driving instead. It took the Cops about 2 minutes to get there as they were looking for him already...seems he had been at it for a while. He was arrested on the spot. Cops asked me if would mind testifying if needed be and I gladly accepted. Lessons learned 1. Dont let your guard down even when you are close to home. 2. Dont assume that the other biker will give you your right of way. Although this idiot cannot be a true biker:bang head: 3. Keep your cool 4. Dont drink and ride. Sorry needed to vent:canada:
  8. I have to agree that this looks like a scam. However, I have bought things on kijiji before and done the transaction through Paypall when the item was away. Once the money was transferred to him, I got the seller to ship the item to me at my cost. This way it protects him and me, but there is always a small risk. In the case above though, the storyline is all too familiar and in-line with a popular scam.
  9. I would actually prefer that too.
  10. One 2XL for me:thumbsup:
  11. Yes very sad for those that were hit. Have absolutely no patience for the car driver though. Hope they nail her a......
  12. 3lbs in front and 40lbs in back for suspension 36lbs in front and 40 in back for tires Mosty ride 1up and i weight 240lbs When 2 up, add 110 lbs use the same settings
  13. Wish I could join you but I would have to leave here every Tuesday at noon to make it Enjoy.
  14. Ok I finally got to ride at night. It is an improvement from the standard halogen I had before. Low beam is stronger than before but high beam not as much asside from better illumination next to front wheel. I suspect that similar to having HID the reflector is not designed for these LED units. Aiming the lamp is a bit different and had to place the low beam a bit higher as high beam was useless for aiming it. I also installed LED driving lamps and those illuminated the side very well.
  15. Dont take me wrong, I actually support the changes here in NB for all of the reasons you are brigning up.
  16. Was gasing up the other day and this couple stopped for gas on a RK and they both had the HD jacket, pants, helmets, belts, boot ....almost asked if there was matching underwear involved......but he had more tatoos than me All tatoos where HD also:rotf: Oh, and they did not wave at me either as I left and hit my brakes to light up my set of HD lights in the back

  18. Looking forward to follow your adventures---enjoy:group cheers:
  19. You are welcome sir. Glad it worked out good for you. I have 1800lm one and it works well on high or low beam, although low beam is very strong but high beam adds a bit more coverage closer to bike but it does not impact distance visibility much. That is probably linked to the reflector itself. You may have a defective unit if you have no low beam. Probably should discuss with the vendor.
  20. Sounds like an amazing trip - hope you enjoy. I am curious though, why would you not ride through British-Columbia? That would be some spectacular scenery in the mountains.
  21. Yea but how do they fit and sound on the RSV?
  22. HARLEY DAVIDSON SCREAMIN EAGLE STOCK CVO MUFFLERS FLH TOURING 96-LATER Has anyone tried these on a Second Gen? The price is really good, but wonder how they perform? Assume they would install the same as any other HD slip-on we can use on the RSV. 23. I have no use for it. Took a few rides to get used to not having one but not an issue at all now. Going by sound and by feeling sufficient torque or not. Save your
