  1. Please keep it. Very useful.
  2. Not sure what's up with them, but in the past week I have only been able to get them to come up correctly by using chrome as a browser. Otherwise same results as you:confused24:
  3. Just added to my list hard wirring my new TomTom Rider GPS that will be delivered to me this week. And doing the hard bag rails mod to get them to line up better.
  4. I use one of these. Its removable and the mounting gear then is almost flush with floor. Pingel Removable Wheel Chock - 6 1/2in. Inside Width - WC650 - Pingel - - Canada's Motorcycle
  5. Gas attendant when I am in full bike gear- do you want a car wash today?
  6. Link is now dead....?
  7. Nice bike. Invest and join the group. It will be the 12$ you ever spend and get access to a wealth of information and guidance on these bikes. Welcome!
  8. Mine is a motormaster but it looks exactly like the one you have in the pic. Looking towards the front of the bike, when I come in from the right side with the jack, I will use the nubs to line up the other side then I will raise the bike. So the nubs on the left (side stand) now act as stoppers while the nubs on the right side will now be between the jack and the adapter. Yes this makes me raise the bike at a slight angle, but it is stabble. What I usually have to worry about is ensuring the bike is balanced on the jack front to back, that is the though part. I made a rough drawing attached:
  9. Sorry, bike is stored for the winter. If i can find a picture I will certainly post. In the meantime, if you google search rsv lift adapter, a number of links come up with pictures.
  10. I use it and have the lift adapter. No problems. Use the nubs as a stopper to ensure positioning on the lift.
  11. I would not be surprised if they were all built on the same assembly line and then branded for the different companies. I have a Motormaster (Canadian Tire) one and it looks exactly like the HF, Duralast and the Sears unit.
  12. Take a look at this video of a buch of thugs on bikes looking for trouble....sad part is we all end up paying for these idiots in one way or another. http://www.cnn.com/video/?/video/us/2014/11/27/erin-pkg-moos-police-chases-bikers-in-la.cnn&hpt=hp_c4&from_homepage=yes&video_referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cnn.com%2F#/video/us/2014/11/27/erin-pkg-moos-police-chases-bikers-in-la.cnn
  13. Here is what I did: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?85189-CREE-LED-H4-Headlight-Installation And for driving lights: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?84450-Conversion-to-LED-Passing-Lamps
  14. That would be a great deal. I paid more than that for my 2006 2 years ago.
  15. I have the Contour one and it is not a bad camera. Sound sucks on it, but for motorcycle riding all you would get is wind noise anyway. Battery life is abour 3.5 hours. They are easy to mount on helmets. They have a model that includes GPS tracking, but it is expensive and requires an additional waterproof case which the basic unit does not require. Contour went out of business last year, but came back under new ownership this spring. Apparently new models are coming, but have not seen them yet.
  16. I am looking at a set of 4'' CVO slip-on pipes that are sold for 99 to 15 FLH models. Will these fit the 2006 RSV? Any re-jetting issues? Thanks
  17. http://www.launchhelmetcams.ca/ Check out this site. They specialize in helmet cams but all have options to mount on other things.
  18. Great workmanship and attention to details. Talented fellow.
  19. Number of small stuff (in an effort to eliminate an afterburn since I replaced the fuel pump) like: - replace spark plugs - replace collant plugs behind the faux fin covers - replace vacum port plugs - sychronize carbs Otherwise, install Monster Ovals (if I can find a set at the right price).
  20. I have used the stick and it worked for me. I had a few scratches on the front lowers and saddlebags where you could see white. You realy need to know they were there now. It filed them up but the color is just a tad darker than the surrounding area. Would add a picture, but it does not show.
  21. Noticed that Mr. Wagner was no longer there.
  22. Used to be able to create a list of our favorite emoticons. Is it possible to have that again? Also, is it now possible to have the map location function we had for a time up to last year. The one where we could place a pin on the map? Great job on the site though!
  23. :sign yeah that:
  24. Same here and no noise from the tires.
